PLAYER RECOMMENDATIONS
FORWARDS
Harry Kane, TOT v. EVE (£27): You won't see it in his game log, but Kane was a force in last weekend's FA Cup win against AFC Wimbledon. He scored a brace on 10 shots (!), and will look to carry that form over into Saturday's match versus Everton. Kane has taken at least five shots in each of his last four starts, giving good reason for the oddsmakers to tab him as the stud most likely to bag a goal.
Alvaro Morata, CHE v. LEI (£26): With Kane being the guy most fantasy players will gravitate toward, Morata serves as a nice alternative at a similar price. It's possible to move mountains to fit both players in, but if we're just looking for a tournament alternative to Kane, Morata is the guy. Yes, he missed some golden chances against Arsenal, but he remains Chelsea's go-to goal scorer and a home game against Leicester is a spot where he could turn up with a multi-goal game.
Richarlison, WAT v. SOU (£18): Richarlison hasn't scored since November, but he's an intriguing fantasy play at £18. He has five goals and four assists on the season, and playing at home against a Southampton squad that just conceded two goals to Crystal Palace looks like a prime opportunity for the Brazilian to get back on track.
MIDFIELDERS
Christian Eriksen, TOT v. EVE (£22): Eriksen continues to drive the Tottenham attack, averaging nearly 12 fantasy points per game across his last three appearances. He scored a goal and finished with 18.75 points versus Everton earlier in the season, and if his recent form is any indication, there's no reason to think he can't replicate that performance.
Matt Ritchie, NEW v. SWA (£16): His up-and-down performances have left lot to be desired, but it's time to go back to the well with Premier League cellar-dwellers Swansea in town. Ritchie topped eight points on New Year's Day without a goal or an assist, and with Newcastle looking to capitalize on a prime opportunity to move up the table, we can expect him to play a big part in the attack.
Chris Brunt, WBA v. BHA (£11): If we're going dumpster diving, Brunt looks like something that might be worth pulling out of the pile. He missed out on West Brom's last Premier League game, but is projected to return to the starting lineup against Brighton and checks in at just £11. Brunt is averaging seven fantasy points per game over his last three, making him a strong value if he's back in the lineup.
DEFENDERS
Marcos Alonso, CHE v. LEI (£17): Alonso has a goal in two of his last three appearances, and his six goals on the season are good for second-most on Chelsea behind Morata. While he's the highest-priced defender, there's not a huge price difference between him and the other top defenders on the slate. It never hurts to have exposure to the Chelsea attack via a defender spot, and Alonso provides just that.
Kieran Trippier, TOT v. EVE (£15): Trippier contributed to a clean sheet and had nine fantasy points against Swansea in his last appearance. With Spurs the biggest favorite on the slate, there's reason to believe Trippier could show up with both defensive and attacking contributions against Everton. If he isn't starting, keep an eye out for Serge Aurier as a potential pivot for £1 less.
Andreas Christensen, CHE v. LEI (£14): Christensen gives us easy access to the Chelsea defense and -- while he hasn't been lighting it up -- he's been a consistent stream of five-to-seven points. In another favorable home matchup with Leicester City, Christensen has a shot at picking up clean sheet points along with providing the occasional aerial threat on set pieces.
GOALKEEPERS
Ben Foster, WBA v. BHA (£13): Foster has allowed just one goal over his last two home appearances, and considering Brighton haven't scored in their last five away games, all signs point to Foster being someone we can save a little cash at the position with.
