2025 Fantasy Outlook
Burki completed his second season as the starter St. Louis in 2024, starting 32 matches. He registered seven clean sheets, 55 goals allowed and 102 saves, a downturn compared to the eight, 48 and 131 he registered last season. However, his team took a step back as well, dropping from the top seed in the west to out of the playoffs completely in 2024. That said, he's still a competent keeper who can rank among the best in the league when in form. He should hold the starting role once again and will look to return to the goalie of the year form he showed in 2023.
Ruled out Saturday

May 23, 2026
Burki (quad) is ruled out for Saturday's clash against Austin.
ANALYSIS
Burki has been unable to get the green light despite being listed as questionable with the quad concern, confirming his absence and representing one of the more impactful status updates on the entire Saturday report given his importance as St. Louis's starting goalkeeper. His unavailability forces the coaching staff to turn to Ben Lundt between the posts, with the backup option now tasked with stepping up in the absence of his first-choice counterpart. Burki's situation will be monitored closely in the coming days as St. Louis hope the quad issue proves to be a short-term setback rather than a prolonged absence heading into the next stretch of the MLS season.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Chelsea showing interest
GBorussia Dortmund
GTD
May 28, 2020
Chelsea are mulling a move for Burki next summer and would be open to bid around £15m for the 29-year-old goalkeeper, Andrew Dillon of The Sun reports.
ANALYSIS
Chelsea have been linked with names such as Andre Onana and Marc-Andre ter Stegen in the past, but Burki could be a reasonable alternative -- he has plenty of experience at the top level and, as if that wasn't enough, he would considerably cheaper than the other two aforementioned names. Having said that, it seems quite unlikely that Dortmund will part ways with the Swiss international due to the lack of quality replacements available.
