MATCHES (EST)
2:45 p.m: FC Basel v. Manchester City
2:45 p.m: Juventus v. Tottenham
FORWARDS
Sergio Aguero, MCI at BAS (€25): Aguero is hot off a four-goal, 45.85-point haul over the weekend, and given the short slate he jumps out as the forward to pay up for Tuesday. He averaged over four shots per game during the group stage, and while Basel have been good defensively, they have yet to face the best attack out of the Premier League.
Gonzalo Higuain, JUV v. TOT (€24): After Aguero is either Harry Kane, Raheem Sterling or Higuain in terms of high upside. I'm siding with the home team and riding the hot hand here. Higuain has a goal in four straight, and he'll continue to be looked to for goals with Juventus trying to get off to a good start at home against Tottenham.
Federico Bernardeschi, JUV v. TOT (€14): Bernardeschi has been the beneficiary of added opportunities since Paulo Dybala went down in early January. He struck a stunning free kick goal this past Friday, and he's already contributed two assists this month.
MIDFIELDERS
Kevin De Bruyne, MCI at BAS (€24): The cog to the Manchester City attack logged three assists Saturday, and he's scored at least 18 fantasy points in three of his last four outings. With a lack of big names in the midfield pool, and therefore a lack of players to pay up for, we should have no problem fitting in De Bruyne.
Douglas Costa, JUV v. TOT (€18): Costa has seen limited minutes recently, but he does have a combined two goals and one assist over his last three starts. It'll likely be Costa or Bernardeschi in the starting lineup, so be sure to verify who's in there once they're announced.
Oleksandr Zinchenko, MCI at BAS (€11): Zinchenko has actually been lining up along the Manchester City back line when he's in the lineup, and while he's ineligible for clean sheet points he may still be fantasy relevant on a two-game slate. He's near minimum price and is averaging over six fantasy points per game over three starts this season.
DEFENDERS
Nicolas Otamendi, MCI at BAS (€16): Otamendi is averaging nine fantasy points per game, and he's doing that without a plethora of clean sheet points. Manchester City have just one shutout in their last six matches, but Otamendi continues to churn out enough defensive stats to post respectable point totals regardless of the clean sheet bonus.
Alex Sandro, JUV v. TOT ($€14): Sandro has helped Juventus earn a clean sheet in 10 of the last 11 matches that he's appeared in, and he continues to make his presence felt in the attack, too. The Brazilian had a goal and an assist two games ago, and he assisted on a goal in his last UCL game.
Mattia De Sciglio, JUV v. TOT ($€13): De Sciglio could slot in for Stephan Lichtsteiner (thigh), and if he does he would give us a nice value along a Juventus back line that has kept a clean sheet in 14 of their last 15 fixtures.
GOALKEEPERS
Ederson, MCI at BAS (€15): Manchester City are the biggest favorite and they have the best clean sheet odds despite playing away to Basel. Considering there are only four goalkeepers to select from, and all priced within €2 of each other, Ederson looks like he's in the best spot to pick up the win and clean sheet bonus.
