QUARTERBACK
Matt Ryan, ATL vs. TB ($8,300): Ryan will likely be the chalk play this week at quarterback given he'll be home and has scored 29.26, 31.68 and 40.16 fantasy points in the dome this season. Tampa Bay has been dreadful on defense, ranking dead last against the pass. Mitch Trubisky just lit them up for six touchdown passes, and Ryan has a better set of receivers to throw to than does Trubisky. Looking at the other team here, Jameis Winston ($7,400) is a great GPP play against a Falcons' defense that's been decimated by injuries. Atlanta has given up the second-most touchdown passes (12) to opposing teams this season and is allowing 277 passing yards per game. Winston had strong fantasy numbers last season with six 300-yard passing games in only 13 games played.
RUNNING BACK
Jordan Howard, CHI at MIA ($6,200): Tevin Coleman ($6,300) will be a popular play in cash if Devonta Freeman is ruled out for Sunday's game, which he's trending toward. Howard has largely been disappointing this season with only two games scoring double-digit fantasy points (13.2 and 15.1). He was largely phased out of the game plan against Tampa Bay, with Tarik Cohen scoring 26.9 fantasy points, mostly through receiving. However, Howard is still the more talented running back and has more than 1,000 rushing yards in each of his first two seasons in the league. Look for him to be more involved Sunday and be at an extremely low ownership, making it a good time to use him in GPPs.
Chris Carson, SEA at OAK ($6,400): While Carson is sharing touches with Mike Davis in the Seattle backfield, he's getting the bulk of the workload. He out-touched Davis 20-14 last week and that discrepancy could grow this week now that Carson appears fully healthy. It's a great matchup against the Raiders who are giving up 4.9 yards per carry on the season (the sixth-worst mark) and have allowed six rushing touchdowns (tied for second-most in football).
WIDE RECEIVER
Chester Rogers, IND at NYJ ($5,700): Both T.Y. Hilton and Jack Doyle are looking like they'll miss this week again putting Rogers, Ryan Grant ($5,500) and Eric Ebron ($6,500) in more prominent roles. Rogers has secured eight passes in each of his last two games (11 targets in each), showing there's some chemistry between him and Andrew Luck. The Jets are in the middle of the league with a 7.2 yards per attempt against but have allowed 12 passing touchdowns, the second-most in the league.
Keke Coutee, HOU vs. BUF ($5,700): It's a small sample but it's hard to ignore Coutee's first two professional games, as he's scored 14.3 and 16.2 fantasy points. He's gotten 22 targets in those two games, and the Texans ran a designed jet sweep "catch" for him to score against Dallas Sunday night. The Bills have a pair of good corners in Tre'Davious White and Taron Johnson, who will likely be chasing Will Fuller and DeAndre Hopkins around the field. This will leave Coutee in softer coverage; just make sure that his hamstring issue doesn't sideline him.
TIGHT END
C.J. Uzomah, CIN vs. PIT ($5,100): If Eric Ebron ($6,500) is able to go Sunday, he'll be an extremely popular selection especially with the lack of depth at the position for the main slate of games. Tyler Eifert is out for the season, and it appears backup Tyler Kroft will miss this game as well, as he was seen in a walking boot Wednesday. That leave Uzomah as the Bengals only healthy option, and the Steelers have struggled against tight ends, giving up the second-most fantasy points (20.1 per game) to the position.
FLEX
Doug Baldwin, SEA at OAK ($6,200): If a roster is being constructed around Todd Gurley ($9,100) and/or Melvin Gordon ($8,800) there will be a big need for salary cap relief in other places. Baldwin makes a lot of sense as a player who should be healthier after being banged up earlier this season and is coming off an abysmal game (one target, one catch for one yard). The Raiders have allowed the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers this season.
DEFENSE
Chicago Bears at Miami, ($4,500): The Bears have been a consistent dominant defensive unit this season with at least 13 fantasy points in all four of their games this season. They've had at least four sacks in every contest and at least one interception in every game as well. Miami has dropped two straight games after starting 3-0, while the Bears defense has had an extra week to prepare for this one.
