Weekly Pitcher Rankings: Top Pitchers This Week

Todd Zola looks at the changing offensive environment as the weather warms up, but nobody is hotter than Milwaukee Brewers pitching phenom Jacob Misiorowski.
Weekly Pitcher Rankings: Top Pitchers This Week
Mock Draft Simulator
Prep for your 2026 Fantasy Football draft with free, unlimited drafts, and real-time grades.

As the month draws to an end, let's take a look at the factors affecting scoring, hence how aggressive we should be with selecting pitchers:

MonthR/GHR%BABIPwOBAK%BB%SB%
Mar/Apr4.512.8%0.2910.31422.2%9.6%76.6%
May4.302.8%0.2830.30921.9%8.8%73.6%
Jun4.683.5%0.2930.32322.3%8.6%78.7%

As expected, warmer temperatures promoted more home runs, with scoring coming along for the ride. Pitchers must have a better grasp of the ABS system as walks are declining. May looks like an anomaly with such a low BABIP. It's also interesting to note that stolen base success rate is on the rise, perhaps because players thrown out earlier in the season aren't attempting as many swipes.
