Game Preview
Both the Twins and the Wyverns enter this game following less-than-impressive performances during Week 1 of the 2020 KBO season. While the hosts won two of their first five contests, the away side enter this matchup with just a single win. The Twins are coming off a 10-8 win over NC Dinos in their previous outing, while the Wyverns are coming off a 4-0 shutout at the hands of the Lotte Giants, a loss which extended their losing streak to three games. LG will aim to start their first winning streak of the season by sending Cha Woo-chan to the mound, while the Wyverns will counter with former MLB pitcher Nick Kingham, who spent time in the big leagues with the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Toronto Blue Jays. Cha was stellar in his season debut, tossing six innings of one-run ball against Doosan.

Lee Jae-won - Out - Thumb
Lee exited Thursday's 8-4 loss to Hanwha with a fractured right thumb, Jeeho Yoo of the Yonhap News Agency reports. SK Wyverns has yet to announce a timeline for Lee's return. Lee was hitless in his first two at-bats before he sustained the injury when he was hit by a pitch in his third plate appearance of the day. SK Wyverns will presumably send Lee in for more tests to determine whether surgery is necessary, but even if he avoids a procedure, he appears likely to miss time on account of the injury. Lee's expected absence further thins a weak KBO catcher pool in which the 32-year-old stood out as one of the top fantasy options coming off a 12-homer, 75-RBI 2019 season. Lee Hyun-seok replaced Jae-won in Thursday's game and would presumably be in store for regular work behind the dish while the latter is sidelined.
LG Twins
Lee Hyung-jong- Out - Wrist
Lee, who suffered a fractured wrist in a preseason game, is expected to return in late May or early June, Newsis News Agency reports. Lee broke the fifth metacarpal in his left hand, but he should be a big part of LG's offense when he returns after hitting .286 with 13 home runs and an .800 OPS last season. Yong-taik Park has received more playing time as a result of Lee's injury.

Top picks:
Jamie Romak, Wyverns: If the Wyverns want to stop their losing skid, then their offense must find a way to figure out Cha. Romak should play a pivotal role in that quest, as the 34-year-old baseman must find a way to get things going soon. He's hitting for .263, although three of his five hits thus far have gone for extra bases.
Roberto Ramos, Twins: Ramos couldn't have asked for a better start to his KBO career, as he's hitting .450 with a 1.350 OPS in the first five games of the season. He's hit safely in every contest and is coming off a two-homer effort against NC Dinos on Sunday. That was his third multi-hit game of the season.
Cha Woo-chan, Twins: Cha was absolutely dominant in his first start of the season, as he limited the Doosan Bears to just one run and three hits in six innings. This is his fourth season with the Twins. He's coming off a 2019 campaign where he posted a 4.12 ERA with a 1.43 WHIP across 168.1 innings of work.
Kim Min-sung, Twins: Kim might hit in the bottom of the Twins' order, but that doesn't mean he isn't a dangerous hitter. The 31-year-old third baseman has hit over .260 in each of his last nine seasons and is sporting a three-game hit streak entering this contest. He has five RBI in five games in 2020.
