Scores 27 in Summer League debut
Dybantsa supplied 27 points (7-18 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 7-8 FT), seven rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block across 26 minutes in Thursday's 92-88 Summer League win over the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
Dybantsa struggled from three-point range but was highly productive otherwise. The 19-year-old forward got to the charity stripe often and erupted for a game-high 27 points while pacing the Wizards in rebounds. He was also solid on the defensive end, finishing as one of two Wizards players to record at least three combined steals-plus-blocks.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Likely going to Washington
Dybantsa is increasingly viewed around the league as the likely No. 1 overall selection in the 2026 NBA Draft, according to ESPN's Shams Charania.
ANALYSIS
"The league-wide belief right now is that BYU's AJ Dybantsa is who is being looked at strongest for that No. 1 overall pick with the Washington Wizards," Charania said. "They are really narrowing in on AJ Dybantsa because of his fit as a wing player, his flair, the passion he plays with as a fit alongside Trae Young at point guard and Anthony Davis at center." Based on previous reporting, it sounds like Kansas guard Darryn Peterson is still in the mix as well.
