2025 Fantasy Outlook
Slayton is back for another season as the deep threat in Brian Daboll's offense, following a 2024 campaign in which 31 percent of his targets and yardage occurred during the two games Malik Nabers missed. Never a target hog, Slayton otherwise flew under the radar even more so than usual last year, averaging 1.5 catches for 27.2 yards on 3.4 targets in 10 games after Nabers returned from concussion protocol. The 28-year-old has four seasons of more than 700 receiving yards but none with 800, and he hasn't scored more than four TDs in a year since netting eight as a rookie back in 2019. There's not much of a ceiling to be had, especially in PPR formats, but Slayton doesn't face much competition for a top-three role and may benefit from playing with QBs Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston rather than Daniel Jones. A return to his 2022-23 level of production thus appears possible, after slumping to 573 yards and two TDs last year. Read Past Outlooks

Four catches in season finale
Slayton caught four of nine targets for 34 yards in Sunday's 34-17 win over Dallas.
ANALYSIS
Slayton was able to reel in at least four passes for the first time since Week 15 and the fifth time overall this season. The wide receiver finished his seventh campaign in New York having caught 37 of 64 targets for 538 yards and one touchdown over 14 regular-season contests. Slayton will enter the offseason as a free agent, and his 14.5 yards per reception this year will likely attract some potential new suitors ahead of the 2026 campaign.

2019
Slayton's five years with the Giants have yielded four seasons in the range of 46-50 catches, 724-770 receiving yards and 15.0-15.7 yards per catch. That includes 2023, when he was stuck in an offense with terrible blocking and three different starting quarterbacks. Slayton led the team in receiving for a second straight year (and fourth time overall), with the final four weeks accounting for 41.7 percent of his yardage and three of his four TDs. Despite the strong finish, it may be difficult for the 2019 fifth-round pick to match his past success after the Giants selected WR Malik Nabers sixth overall in the 2024 Draft. While Slayton is still likely to have a starting job, there's a good chance Nabers almost instantly becomes the best WR and strongest target-earner Slayton has ever shared a field with.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Won't play in Thursday's game
Slayton will not play in Thursday night's game against the Eagles due to a hamstring injury, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The veteran receiver suffered the injury late in the Week 5 loss to the Saints, and after being listed as a nonparticipant throughout the short allotment of Week 6 prep, Slayton is now officially ruled out. Raanan reports Slayton still had a very noticeable limp in the locker room Tuesday, and it remains to be seen if he'll even be healthy enough to suit up for a Week 7 road matchup against the Broncos on Sunday, Oct. 19.
