Logs strong minicamp
Hyatt (lower body) took part in the Giants' recent mandatory minicamp and looked good at practice, Jordan Raanan of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Hyatt was limited to the side field during spring practices, but the 2023 third-round pick now appears back to full health. The 24-year-old was regularly a healthy scratch in 2025 and suited up for only 10 regular-season games, totaling eight catches for 35 yards on 14 targets. He's competing with players like Braxton Berrios, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Odell Beckham, Isaiah Hodgins, Beaux Collins (concussion) and Ryan Miller for a roster spot.

Hyatt played in 16 games last season, but he tallied just eight catches (on 19 targets) for 62 yards, and his longest reception went for only 19 yards. The good news for Hyatt's chance of a rebound is that New York didn't add to the top of its wideout room during the offseason and should get better QB play with the additions of Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston and rookie Jaxson Dart. Hyatt thus seems likely to get another chance to produce, but it will be a make-or-break season for him.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Playing on borrowed time?
Hyatt may not make the Giants' 53-man roster at the end of training camp given the team's additions to wide receiver in both free agency and the draft, Patricia Traina of SI.com posits.
ANALYSIS
The Giants lost Wan'Dale Robinson in free agency but proceeded to add Calvin Austin, Odell Beckham, Braxton Berrios and JuJu Smith-Schuster while selecting Malachi Fields in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft. That leaves Hyatt with an uncertain future with Big Blue, and Traina believes that the 2023 third-rounder is on the outside looking in on a roster spot with the Giants barring a strong training camp. Hyatt played in just eight regular-season games for the Giants in 2025 and was a healthy scratch in a number of those missed games, finishing with just five catches on 14 targets for 35 yards.
