Working with trainer
Collins (concussion) was spotted working with trainers on the side at practice Monday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
It appears Collins has still not returned to full health after missing the Giants' final eight games last season with a neck injury and a concussion. The Notre Dame product caught two of six targets for 25 yards across nine contests in 2025, contributing on both offense (84 snaps) and special teams (110 snaps). Once fully healthy, Collins is expected to compete for a similar role ahead of the 2026 campaign.

Locked spot on 53-man roster?
Dan Duggan of The Athletic believes Collins has done well enough in training camp and preseason games to earn a spot on the Giants' 53-man roster.
ANALYSIS
Collins had only one catch across two preseason games, but it went for an 80-yard touchdown during the Giants' second preseason game against the Jets. The undrafted rookie has worked with the first-team offense during training camp and has been more involved on special teams, which Duggan believes is enough for the Notre Dame product to make it onto the 53-man roster. Collins' main competition for a depth spot on the 53-man squad will come from the likes of Lil'Jordan Humphrey, Ihmir Smith-Marsette and Gunner Olszewski.
