2026 Fantasy Outlook
Nabers suffered ACL and meniscus tears in Week 4 last year, bringing an early end to what could've been a prolific campaign. He averaged 10.7 targets over the first three weeks, after averaging a league-high 11.3 during his 2024 rookie season. The strong start last year came with Russell Wilson at quarterback, but the Giants actually got better play out of rookie Jaxson Dart, who made his first NFL start the same week that Nabers suffered his injury. Giants fans rightfully are excited about an offense led by Dart, Nabers and LT Andrew Thomas, under the guidance of new coach John Harbaugh and OC Matt Nagy. Few teams have similar talent at premium positions, but that doesn't mean it's without potential complications, like Nabers coming off major surgery and the Giants coming off a four-win season. Nagy's work as head coach in Chicago (2018-21) is another cause for concern, though QB Mitch Trubisky fared no better afterward. In New York, there's not a ton to work with after the aforementioned big names, but the Giants do return four of five O-line starters from last year, and they signed TE Isaiah Likely, FB Patrick Ricard and WR Darnell Mooney. Long story short, there's nobody who will prevent Nabers from seeing a ton of targets if he looks like his old self (and Dart provides competent QB play). Read Past Outlooks

Aiming for camp return?
Giants head coach John Harbaugh said Thursday that Nabers (knee) is in the "slog of [his rehab], the grind of it," with the goal of returning to practice at some point in training camp, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Nabers tore his meniscus in addition to his ACL last fall, creating fears about an extended rehab timeline relative to other ACL injuries. Those concerns were compounded in mid-May when it was revealed that Nabers had undergone a minor procedure in April to remove scar tissue that was causing stiffness in his surgically-repaired knee. The Giants said the procedure wasn't expected to impact Nabers' timeline, but it does seem clear that he won't take part in offseason practices and won't be a full-go for the start of training camp. Week 1 may still be the goal, but Harbaugh seemed to acknowledge Thursday that he can't count on Nabers being ready by that point.

Past Fantasy Outlooks

2024
Nabers arguably surpassed expectations for even a sixth overall pick last year, catching 109 passes in 15 games despite being one of the youngest players in his draft class. If not for a concussion costing him Weeks 5 and 6, he would've led the NFL in targets and set a rookie record for receptions. As is, Nabers finished second among WRs in targets rate (32.4 percent of routes) and third in receptions, although the yardage numbers were less impressive (11.0 per catch, 7.1 per target) for reasons that mostly seem to be no fault of his own. The concern for fantasy is that Nabers may be in a bad situation again this season, catching passes from Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston and/or Jaxson Dart. There aren't many concerns about Nabers himself, with the strong rookie year supporting pre-draft expectations that his 4.35 speed would play equally well as a downfield threat and as a YAC weapon. The combination of elite speed and agility in a thick frame (6-0, 200) is reminiscent of Cincinnati's Ja'Marr Chase, who offers a fair comparison for Nabers' ceiling if ever paired with a top passer. For now, we'll likely have to settle for big-time volume in a subpar offense, hoping Nabers' freakish talent shines through often enough to pay off a hefty draft price.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Uncertain for Week 1
Giants officials are uncertain whether Nabers will be available for Week 1 of the 2026 regular season, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Nabers has been sidelined since September by a torn ACL in his right knee. The Giants open their regular season Sept. 13 against the Cowboys, but head coach John Harbaugh told reporters that Nabers' procedure was "not a simple knee [injury]." The Giants are expected to be without both Nabers and Darius Slayton until training camp, as the latter is dealing with a core-muscle injury that required surgery in April.
