QUARTERBACK
Andy Dalton, CIN vs. TB ($7,800): The strategy of targeting teams playing Tampa Bay hasn't changed, and in fact, it's gotten better. While he's not a defensive back, the loss of Kwon Alexander (ACL tear) is going to further cripple a defense that was already struggling. The Buccaneers give up the most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks (27.3 per game), and that number is almost two points over the Saints, who are second. Case Keenum ($7,000) on the road in Kansas City is a good under the radar GPP option considering the high-scoring games in which the Chiefs are usually involved. They're giving up the fourth most fantasy points of any team playing the main slate Sunday.
RUNNING BACK
Marlon Mack, IND at OAK ($6,700): Mack's 30.9 fantasy points outburst along with a great matchup against the Raiders will likely make him a chalky pick this week, but that doesn't mean he should be ignored in cash games. He did miss practice Thursday so watch for his status over the next couple of days. The 22 touches he had against the Bills is evidence that he'll get the lion's share of work (if healthy) against a Raiders team ranked 27th in the league against the run.
Nick Chubb, CLE at PIT ($6,400): Chubb's price doesn't look like it's been inflated enough considering his new role as the Browns' feature back. He scored 14 fantasy points last week against Tampa Bay and will be in line for around 20 touches once again this week. While the Steelers haven't given up a lot of fantasy points to opposing running backs, their 4.1 yards per carry against is only league-average.
WIDE RECEIVER
Jordy Nelson, OAK vs. IND ($5,300): With the trade of Amari Cooper to the Cowboys Nelson finds himself as the de facto No.1 wide receiver for the Raiders. He had a productive three-game stretch with 12.3, 15.3 and 26.3 fantasy points and should be the most heavily targets receiver without Cooper. Getting the Colts at home is a good matchup and this game could sneakily turn into a shootout (50.5 over/under, one of the higher ones this weekend).
Robert Woods, LAR vs. GB ($7,600):Cooper Kupp will miss another game this week narrowing the receiving tree for Jared Goff. Josh Reynolds, taking Kupp's spot last week, finished with only one catch for 17 yards on only that one target. Woods has at least double-digit fantasy points in six straight games including games of 17, 18.6 and 28.7. That shows he not only has a good floor this week against the Packers, but a nice ceiling as well.
TIGHT END
C.J. Uzomah, CIN vs. TB ($5,400): Uzomah was recommended last week based on his matchup and found the end zone on a quick turn to the outside along with a perfectly thrown ball from Andy Dalton. The Bucs are the worst team against the tight end position in fantasy, allowing an average of 19.6 fantasy points per game. Another option to consider here is David Njoku who checks in at $5,700 this week. The Steeler have surrendered the third most fantasy points (18.6) to opposing tight ends, and an interesting GPP strategy would be to use both players mentioned here (one in the tight end spot, one in the flex).
FLEX
Chris Carson, SEA at DET ($6,300): The Lions have given up the fourth most fantasy points to running backs this season, and Carson has established himself as the lead back for Seattle. He has 14, 19 and 32 rushing attempts over his last three contests and should be well rested after being on the bye last week. The Lions' 5.3 yards per carry mark is the worst in the league, and there's no reason for Seattle to pull Carson once they get to the goal line.
DEFENSE
Cincinnati Bengals vs. TB ($3,700): This pick is all about fading Jameis Winston, who has been a turnover machine since returning as the starter. He has two fumbles and two interceptions in each of his first two starts and has to go on the road to face the Bengals. Cincinnati's D/ST has scored double-digits fantasy points in three games this season including a 25-point effort against Miami, showing their upside.
