PITCHER
Patrick Corbin, AZ vs. SF ($22,400): The top pitchers on this slate have high upsides, but they carry plenty of risk as well. Corbin's upside may not be as high as a guy like Yu Darvish, but his floor is high, there are no injury concerns and his matchup is pretty solid. The Giants don't strike out that often against lefties, but they have the third-lowest wOBA against lefties this season.
Dan Straily, MIA vs. SD ($15,600): Straily carries plenty of risk, but that risk should be mitigated a bit because of the matchup against the Padres. Straily's biggest problem lately is that he hasn't been able to go deep into games, but he did manage six innings in his last start while striking out 10. Meanwhile, the Padres have the second-lowest wOBA and the second-highest K% against righties this season.
INFIELD
Wilmer Difo, WAS vs. NYM ($6,800): There's something about stacking the Nationals without Bryce Harper that seems much less appealing, but I wouldn't let that stop you from stacking them against Tommy Milone, who has an 8.12 ERA after a brutal start in his return to the majors last week. Difo, who has a .417 wOBA against lefties this season, provides a cheap option in what is to be an expensive stack.
Anthony Rendon, WAS vs. NYM ($9,600): While Difo provides the low end of the Nationals stack, Rendon is on the high end. Rendon hasn't been very consistent this season, but his ceiling is about as high as anyone in the majors. He has been particularly good against lefties this season, as his .464 wOBA indicates.
Adrian Beltre, TEX at OAK ($10,200): With his recent surge, Beltre's price has gone into the elite realm, but with a matchup against Jharel Cotton, he's worth the price. Cotton managed a complete game his last time out, but prior to that he surrendered at least five runs in three of four. Meanwhile, Beltre enters with a team-high .366 wOBA against righties this season. The Rangers are a good stack option in the afternoon, but I would recommend the Nats or the Twins for all-day slates.
OUTFIELD
Austin Jackson, CLE vs. KC ($7,500):Eric Skoglund has only three appearances this year, including one against the Indians when he failed to make it out of the third inning. The Indians are certainly in play for a stack, but I might stick to just a couple guys, including Jackson, who has a team-high .414 wOBA against lefties this season.
Eddie Rosario, MN at TOR ($8,700):Joe Biagini returns to the starting role against the Twins and if this outing is anything like his past few starts, he won't last long. The Twins have been on fire at the plate for the better part of two weeks, and Rosario, who has a .370 wOBA against righties, is a big part of that.
Max Kepler, MN at TOR ($7,600): Kepler and Rosario have been neck and neck all season in terms of leading the twins in wOBA against righties, so everything that applies to Rosario above applies to Kepler as well.
UTILITY
Jose Abreu, CHW vs. DET ($8,700): There was a time earlier in the season when the best thing you could say about Matt Boyd was that he rarely was hit really hard, he was more of a consistent three-to-four runs per game kind of guy. However, Boyd surrendered seven runs in just 2.1 innings in his most recent start. Meanwhile, Abreu seems like the most likely White Sox hitter to get to Boyd, as he has a .461 wOBA against lefties this season, which is top-10 in the majors.
Giancarlo Stanton, MIA vs. SD ($11,100): At his current price, Stanton is no lock to make my roster, but when he's facing a subpar lefty, I have no problem spending this much to roster him. Clayton Richard takes the hill for the Padres and he enters with a 4.89 ERA. Clayton Richard pitched a shutout just two starts ago, but he fell back to his old ways in his most recent outing, allowing four runs in 5.2 innings to push his ERA to 4.89. Meanwhile, Stanton enters with a .465 wOBA against lefties this season.
