PLAYER RECOMMENDATIONS

GOALKEEPER

Ben Foster, WBA at EVE ($6,400): The second-cheapest goalkeeper for this slate will likely face the most shots, as Everton have the most shots on goal and most saves forced over the past six matches (among teams playing Saturday). Away from home will also keep the West Brom defense back and could give more chances for defensive points.

DEFENDER

Gareth McAuley, WBA at EVE ($6,400): Everton are the biggest favorites on the slate and should control most of the match. They cross the most among Saturday's teams, which should create opportunities for clearances, while they also allow the most tackles. McAuley is one of the few center-backs who has shown decent ability to score off set pieces, though they are very difficult to predict. If Jonny Evans starts, he could provide some salary relief, but McAuley should still outscore him; that decision will be based on your lineup construction elsewhere.

Martin Olsson, SWA at HUL ($5,900): FanDuel has started to price defenders tightly, so check lineups for any relief as there always seems to be one. Olsson has scored twice in the past three matches and is one of the few good-in-real-life players on Swansea. Christian Fuchs scored last week against Hull as a fullback and Olsson is obviously involved in the attack. There are no other significant defensive stat accumulators in plus matchups, so we'll look for more attacking fullbacks.

MIDFIELDER

Gylfi Sigurdsson, SWA at HUL ($11,000): Often times in smaller slates its best to pay up for raw points as there are not enough other plays to counter. Sigurdsson will likely go as the highest-owned player for the second consecutive week, and rightly so. He came into last weekend averaging just under 32 fantasy points per match against non-top six teams, and he then scored 36.5 without a goal.

Robert Snodgrass, WHU at BOU ($7,200): I declared Snodgrass to be a key part of the West Ham attack against Watford two weeks ago and that fell flat on its face. However, I think we can chalk that up to still being new, and against Chelsea last week he showed he is a main cog with plenty of potential. Up against a Bournemouth side that is currently allowing goals for free -- 14 over the last six matches -- Snodgrass will have opportunities.

Andre Ayew, WHU at BOU ($5,600): If you are playing both Lukaku and Sigurdsson, there will need to be lower-priced guys to free up the salary. If he starts, Ayew and West Ham have the best matchup of the day in terms of goals allowed by the opposing team, 14 in the last six. Others low-priced guys with decent match-ups include Lazar Markovic, Ryan Fraser and Kamil Grosicki.

FORWARD

Romelu Lukaku, EVE v. WBA ($12,500): By far the most expensive forward in the slate, Lukaku as has the track record to back it up compared to the others. FanDuel is all about goals for forwards, and Lukaku has far and away the best goal-scoring odds. Paying up for Lukaku will be a popular move this weekend, but one that may be necessary just for the raw point potential.

Fernando Llorente, SWA at HUL ($9,100): Scoring three goals in his last two matches, Llorente and Swansea have looked much better. An away match against Hull will turn up the heat, with both teams battling relegation, and Swansea will have their chances against a Hull squad that has given up the second-most shots on goal on thie slate, along with higher than average number of chances created and goals.

Oumar Niasse, HUL v. SWA ($7,400): Swansea have given up 31 goals to forwards this season, including nine in the last six matches (two last week to Andre Gray). Niasse had 15 fantasy points last week without a goal, and that number seems repeatable with goal upside. For teams on the slate, Swansea have given up the most goals, assists, shots on goal and chances created by forwards over the last six matches.
