It was a decent week for the staff other than me. Stopa paced the field at 8-5-1 and sits one game behind Pianowski in second place.

We have one unanimous pick this week, the Panthers. We went 1-1 on unanimous picks last week, winning with the Packers and losing with the Giants to bring our season record to 4-8. We went 7-6-1 on majority picks (three or more writers) to bring our record to 38-37-1.

| Erickson | Also really like the Pats and Jaguars. I almost never buy into "motivational" reasons, but I think the Pats so badly want to go medieval on the Colts, and the Colts are mediocre enough to allow it. |

| Liss | I think the Lions handle the Bears at home for their first win. I also like the Dolphins to show up with a new coach against a weak Titans squad. And the Saints-Falcons always seem to play close games, and this one's in New Orleans on a short week with a gimpy Julio Jones. |
| Stopa | I really like Miami to bounce back off the bye with a new coach. They have a lot more talent than the Titans. I like the money line, too. |
| Del Don | Seems like a tough slate, and I ended up taking 10 dogs...The 49ers have been decent enough at home, so I'm not sure why the shaky Ravens are favored on the road...I also like the Giants and Cardinals this week. |
