Olausson was dealt from Colorado to San Jose over the summer. The Swedish winger has appeared in only four career NHL regular-season games, including two with the Avalanche in 2024-25. The 2021 first-round pick suited up for 61 regular-season contests with AHL Colorado last year, recording 11 goals, 26 points and a plus-1 rating. Olausson should have plenty to prove considering he’s entering the final year of his entry-level contract, but he’ll probably spend a large portion of the 2025-26 campaign in the minors, as the Sharks have a crowded forward group going into training camp.
