BLG (3-8) vs. DMO (3-8)
I was on fade-BLG alert until they came out swinging against EDG, who is arguably one of the better teams in the LPL. BLG had some great drafts, they finally kept a top laner in for all three games, and they seem to be back on track to what I thought this team would pan out. There are some concerns with their early game, but I think they will figure it out in the long run. If they want to win this game they need Jinjao to start playing better in some of the power champions he has been put on. On the other hand, DMO have players like Natural, who can play any champion, Xiye a veteran who can abuse Fofo, plus Mark and Gala, who have been on the same team for the last three years. DMO recently hired a new coach, and it seems like they were lacking guidance early in the split and this is the type of team that can punch up. What is interesting is that DMO have a 53 percent dragon rate while BLG is at 43 percent, and from recent performances from DMO, they can't handle early aggression teams but are able to beat slow teams like

What is interesting is that DMO have a 53 percent dragon rate while BLG is at 43 percent, and from recent performances from DMO, they can't handle early aggression teams but are able to beat slow teams like LNG and snowball them. This is a very close game in my opinion, as BLG are a type of team that can capitalize on mistakes while DMO just brute-force their way into wins; both styles are a nightmare for both teams.
Prediction: DMO 2-1
Bets: DMO ML (+130)
DMO Players to Target: Xiye (MID $7,000), Natural (TOP $6,000),
Estar (9-3) vs. JDG (7-4)
JDG have struggled to get any early game going, and this forces them to play from behind a lot when they have top carries in Yagao and Loken. They beat SN 2-1 and LNG 2-0 not too long ago. The SN game they got out drafted and got snowballed hard early, while in the LNG game was more of LNG being in horrible form. The "dumpling brothers" are back and Zoom looked good against Flandre, but I had Flandre being the weakest player on that team, not because of his skill, but his shot calling is brutal. Meanwhile, Estar have had two rough games and fallen back down to earth hard. The last game against RNG was so bad that they had no answer during their draft phase when they drafted the same exact team comp. This is a very linear team, and JDG should be able to expose them since they are one of the better objective teams in the league. We haven't seen much from this version of JDG, but I believe Zoom coming back from being on lockdown makes this team a lot better, and he is a player who can bully Estars' top laner.
Prediction: JDG 2-1
Bets: JDG ML (+110)
JDG Players to Target: Zoom ( TOP $5,400), Yagao (MID $6,800), Loken (ADC $7,200)
FPX (8-2) vs. LNG (4-7)
LNG just got stomped by JDG the other day, with Zoom coming back and playing for the first time since returning from quarantine. LNG was in a 3v1 against him in bottom turret and just got outplayed. This proves my point about how this team has no coordination aside from waiting for Flandre to call shots. It's the same as BLG; this team is an auto-fade for me until they prove they can change their play style.
Prediction: FPX 2-0
Bets: None
FPX players to Target: EVERYONE (Khan is starting instead of Gimgoon)
STACKS TO CONSIDER
- Cash: JDG/FPX
- GPP Stack: DMO/ FPX, DMO/JDG
