Zaccheaus is back in Atlanta, where he previously played from 2019 to 2022, under the Dan Quinn and Arthur Smith regimes. He spent 2025 in Chicago, mostly serving as the No. 3 receiver until Luther Burden took the role away late in the season. Zaccheaus finished with a 39-313-3 receiving line, not quite matching his 45-506-3 line from 2024 in Washington. He's largely made his NFL living from the slot, where he'll now compete for a role in Atlanta, with not much hope of big-time target volume. Zaccheaus has topped 50 targets and 300 yards in a season four times, but he's never gone any higher than 65 targets or 533 yards. They're expected to release WR Darnell Mooney on Wednesday when the 2026 league year begins.

Zaccheaus will be on his third team in as many seasons in 2024 after catching 10 passes in 17 games for the Eagles last year and ultimately failing to unseat Quez Watkins from the No. 3 role. The 27-year-old might have another chance to compete for No. 3 status in Washington, where the Commanders otherwise appear to have Luke McCaffrey and Dyami Brown competing for regular roles behind top receiver Terry McLaurin. It was only two years ago that Zaccheaus caught 40 passes for 533 yards as a 13-game starter for Atlanta, but he probably profiles best as a fourth or fifth receiver.
