2026 Projections
2026 Fantasy Outlook
The Dolphins drafted Bell in the third round this spring, 94th overall, without much expectation for Year 1 contributions. He suffered an ACL tear in late November and underwent surgery in mid-December, bringing an early end to his four-year career at Louisville. Known for his strength and size (6-foot-2, 222) above all else, Bell improved his production with each passing season, peaking at 72-917-6 in just 11 games last year. In Miami, he'll join a rebuilding franchise that's badly in need of WR talent yet doesn't have much motivation to rush Bell back. The Dolphins are unlikely to compete for a playoff spot, and if they do remain somewhat competitive, it'll likely be due to rushing production by De'Von Achane and Malik Willis. In any case, there's a strong chance Bell starts the regular season on an injury list, potentially increasing stash interest for fantasy (due to the likelihood of IR eligibility). Read Past Outlooks

No timetable for return yet
Dolphins head coach Jeff Hafley said Wednesday at OTAs that the team has not designated "a timetable" for Bell (ACL) to retake the field, C. Isaiah Smalls II of the Miami Herald reports.
ANALYSIS
Bell, a rookie third-round pick, is currently progressing through rehab work with Miami's training staff during OTAs, Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site reports. The former Louisville standout had projected as a likely first- or second-round selection before suffering a torn ACL and undergoing surgery last December, though he stated prior to the 2026 NFL Draft that he expects to be ready for training camp. Once cleared to return to the field, Bell will compete with veterans Malik Washington, Jalen Tolbert, and Tutu Atwell, along with rookies Caleb Douglas and Kevin Coleman, for targets from quarterback Malik Willis. The pecking order of Miami's wide-receiver corps looks uncertain in advance of the 2026 season, so Bell should have a chance to compete for a notable role if he's indeed able to retake the field for training camp.

Visits with Jets
Bell had a top-30 visit with the Jets on Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Bell is recovering from a torn ACL that he suffered in December while completing his collegiate career at Louisville. That tempers both his draft outlook and his potential ability to contribute in his rookie season, though Bell will get a medical recheck later this week which could provide a clearer timeline for his return to the field. Bell also has future visits scheduled with the Colts, Raiders and Cowboys.
