DraftKings LoL: Thursday/Friday Cheat Sheet
This article is geared towards the slate of games that includes both Thursday and Friday's action on DraftKings. I don't really like the way DraftKings' set up their slates for this week, with three, two game slates per day or a two day slate with only four matchups included. So this article covers G2 vs. Albux NoX Luna, ROX Tigers vs. Counter Logic Gaming, Edward Gaming vs. INTZ, and AHQ vs. H2K. This lineup is extremely top heavy, followed by three punts at the bottom. With not much value, there isn't a huge way around punting at a position or two.
Top Lane: Smeb (ROX vs. CLG, $7,200)
CLG may have won the reverse fixture, but ROX will be looking for revenge. Smeb is of course the best top laner on the slate and for the first time I'm going to pay up for him. If you don't want to use Smeb, I'd look at using Ziv (AHQ vs. H2K, $6,600)
Jungle: Mountain (AHQ vs. H2K, $6,300)
Mountain is cheap in a matchup that AHQ should be able to win. He scored 27.64 points in the first battle between these teams and just missed the bonus assist total, finishing with a 3/3/9 KDA.
Middle Lane: KurO (ROX vs. CLG, $8,100)
KurO has scored over 35 points in both of ROX's wins, falling to 17.32 against CLG in their lone loss. I'd look for him to bounce back from the loss to CLG and help ROX win the revenge game tonight. He's been more supportive so far in the tournament, picking up over ten assists in both games ROX won thus far.
ADC: PraY (ROX vs. CLG, $8,200) and Deft (EDG vs. INTZ $8,700)
I want both big name Korean ADC in my lineup on this small slate. They have the best chance of any of the players involved to get over 10 kills in their games and should be able to carry our lineups. Deft has yet to be worth his lofty salary in this tournament, but with a revenge game against INTZ, he could have his best game of the tournament. Meanwhile, PraY has dominated in ROX's wins and I expect them to beat CLG this time around.
Support: Aphromoo (CLG vs. ROX, $4,200) and Jockster(INTZ vs. ED, $3,700)
There isn't much value on this slate with only four games and no real strong underdog to choose from. I'm completely punting two positions with Aphromoo and Jockster. I don't expect much from either, but Aphro is good enough to not feed even in a loss to ROX. Just hope the rest of our lineup can carry us to a win.
Team: CLG vs. ROX ($3,400)
Another low salary punt. CLG won the first meeting and although I expect ROX to win Game 2, CLG should be able to pick up enough objectives to make their salary worthwhile.
