DraftKings LoL: Thursday Cheat Sheet
Splyce vs. Unicorns of Love and Fnatic against Misfits kick off Week 3 of the EU LCS on Thursday. UoL are deserving favorites after beating H2K to top Group B last week, but while Misfits are priced as favorites I'm on the Fnatic side of things for Thursday.
Top Lane: Vizicsacsi (UoL vs. SPY, $6,600)
Vizicsacsi has been the best top laner in Europe thus far and has shown dominating play on both tanks and carries. After two weeks he leads the LCS in kills, assists, KDA, kill participation, and is second in damage percentage among top laners. Csacsi is an elite play as long as his price is below $7,000.
Jungle: Xerxe (UoL vs. SPY, $6,400)/Amazingx (FNC vs. MSF, $5,800)
Like his top laner, Xerxe has also been dominant through his first two weeks. He's extremely assist driven, leading European junglers by 13 assists, but can pick up kills if he plays a carry oriented jungler as well. Safe play at a cheap price. Amazingx is statistically having a pretty slow start to the season. He's near the bottom in a lot of important categories, must noticeably kill participation. That said I like Fnatic in this series, and Amazingx gives us a cheap lineup filler on Thursday.
Middle Lane: Caps (FNC vs. MSF, $6,800)/Exileh (UoL vs. SPY, $7,300)
Both mid laners are proving to be the main carry threats for their teams. Exileh leads European mid laners in kills and assists, and is near the top of the list in kill participation and KDA. Caps has been the flashiest member of Fnatic which doesn't necessarily guarantee consistent production, but does give you enough of a floor to depend on. He's cheap in a good matchup against PowerOfEvil and Misfits, and has excellent upside on Thursday.
ADC: Rekkles (FNC vs. MSF, $6,900
Choosing which AD Carry is going to have a big game while playing one of Ashe, Varus, or Jhin is not an easy task lately. That said, Rekkles is cheap enough that I think he's the correct play heading into Thursday. He's the third highest priced marksman, making him a good value with solid upside.
Support: Hylissang (UoL vs. SPY, $5,600)
Using cheap Fnatic players allows me to pay up for Hylissang on Thursday. He's an excellent bet to reach 10+ assists in every game won by UoL. They should win this series and I wouldn't be shocked if they sweep Splyce.
Team: FNC vs. MSF ($4,400)
Fnatic are the underdog, but I think they are good enough to win at least one game and have a strong chance to win the series. Misfits have been very good through two weeks, but I don't think Fnatic are slouches by any means and should provide good value in the team spot Thursday.
