DraftKings LoL: Thursday Cheat Sheet
We're getting down to the wire in the EU LCS, with only two weeks left until playoffs. Plenty of teams still have a shot to make the playoffs, but time is at a premium with just four games left to play. S04 have what would appear to be the best matchup of Thursday, facing off against a struggling ROCCAT. I'd expect this to be a sweep and players like Fox, MrRallez and Steve are strong plays at high prices. G2 are the only other team I think is likely to take a sweep Thursday with the rest of the series looking likely to tie.
Top Lane: Cabochard (VIT vs. H2K, $6,000)
Somewhat risky of a pick, but there's good value if Cabo can go off in one of these two games. I respect Odoamne as a player and H2K tend to have low scoring games, but Cabochard can carry a win on Thursday for Vitality at a very cheap price in the top lane.
Jungle: Trick (G2 vs. UoL, $6,600)
Trick is cheap even though he's the highest priced jungler on the slate. You all know by now that I'm a big fan of using Trick and I think he's the highest upside jungler in the EU LCS. I'd expect a big scoreline as G2 look likely to sweep UoL.
Middle Lane: Fox (S04 vs. ROC, $7,500)
Fox has cooled off a bit of late, but has shown over the last two splits that he's very good at picking up kills. He's expensive, but a matchup against ROCCAT warrants the price. Perkz, Febiven and Night also find themselves in good situations.
ADC: Zven (G2 vs. UoL , $7,700)
I originally had MrRallez, but I'm not sure how much I actually trust him. Sure ROCCAT are an easy matchup on paper, but Steeelback has played pretty well this year even in ROCCAT losses and MrRallez isn't exactly Mr. Consistent. Zven on the other hand is the best AD Carry in the EU LCS. I'd expect him to be heavily involved in a G2 sweep.
Support: kaSing (VIT vs. H2K, $4,800)
Vitality are quietly getting better while H2K are getting worse. This series is probably destined for a tie and while it's risky to play against H2K due to a lack of action, both teams tend to play longer games. This sets kaSing up nicely to be able to pick up double digit assists, hopefully in both games.
Team: VIT vs. H2K ($4,200)
Vitality should at least take a game in this series and I'd back them to win it over H2K if there is a winner Thursday. As I said about kaSing, both teams tend to play longer games and that should lead to enough objectives for Vitality at a low price on Thursday.
