DraftKings LoL: Saturday Cheat Sheet
I think there is basically two ways to construct your lineup Saturday. The first is a balanced approach, using players from Cloud9, Immortals, and a couple cheap Counter Logic Gaming options to fill out a balanced squad that should also be high scoring. The second option I'm looking at is paying up for Bjergsen and Doublelift and supplementing the rest of the lineup with a cheap Counter Logic Gaming stack. Team SoloMid are by far in the best position of the day, making their players expensive and although Bjergsen and Doublelift probably pay off their lofty salaries, I'm not sure how many points Counter Logic Gaming will score. I'm going with option number one, but I can't fault anyone who wants to fit Team SoloMid's carries into a lineup today, as they will probably be the day's top scorers.
Top Lane: Huni (IMT vs. APX, $7,200)
By the end of this lineup, I still had $400 leftover, which could be used to go from Huni or Hauntzer. Hauntzer has the easier matchup, but Huni is the better player for fantasy purposes, leading LCS top laners in kills while placing second in assists. Apex aren't that off putting of a matchup for an Immortals team that is clicking on all cylinders right now.
Jungle: Meteos (C9 vs. nV, $6,200)
My lineup is actually utilizing three junglers today, Meteos, Reignover, and Xmithie. Meteos is part of my three man C9 stack in what should be a bloody series. Meteos has been excellent in his return from the sidelines this split, racking up assists throughout the season thus far. He's a poor man's version of Reignover, but using both could result in good fantasy upside as each player is involved in the majority of their team's kills.
Middle Lane: Jensen (C9 vs. nV, $7,200)
As I said, Bjergsen has the easiest matchup of the day, but he's $1,100 more expensive than Jensen and I'm not sure the difference will be that great to justify using Bjergsen. Jensen leads the LCS in kills from the mid lane and has an excellent chance to add to that tally Saturday against nV.
ADC: Sneaky (C9 vs. nV , $7,200)
Likewise, Sneaky is also $1,100 cheaper than Doublelift. While he doesn't offer the safer matchup, Sneaky is only six kills behind Doublelift while having 35 more assists than the TSM marksman. In a series that probably goes to three games, he's looking like a good bet at a much cheaper price and could match or out produce Doublelift today.
Support: Aphromoo (CLG vs. TL, $4,900)
The cheap parts of today's lineup are brought to you by CLG in the form of their jungler and support. I'm not sure how high scoring this series will be, especially on the CLG side and while they're somewhat hard to trust right now, they can beat TL. Aphromoo will be involved in his team's kills and his cheap price allows us to pay up for some players in better situations.
Team: CLG vs. TL ($4,300)
CLG are my favorite cheap team to use today and although they may not beat Team Liquid, I think they'll at least take the series to three games. That means there should be plenty of objectives to take and while CLG don't have the most upside, the cheap price allows us to pay up for some players in good situations.
