DraftKings LoL: FridayCheat Sheet
Week 5 kicks off with matchups between Team Dignitas and FlyQuest and EnVyUs against Phoenix1. While P1 find themselves in the best matchup, it's FlyQuest I'll be mainly focusing in on Friday. While I keep waiting for FQ to regress, there is no denying they are the best options at putting fantasy points on the board on the Friday slate. Dignitas have been awful and while I expect them to be better, they need to prove it before I fully jump on board. I'd expect FlyQuest to be extremely chalky, so if you want to go a different route in tournaments be my guest.
Top Lane: Ssumday (DIG vs. FLY, $5,500)
While Dignitas have underperformed thus far, the fault can't be laid on Ssumday. He leads all top laners on the Friday slate in kills and while his assist total and kill participation numbers are low, I will continue to vouch for him when he's this cheap.
Jungle: Moon (FLY vs. DIG, $6,700)/LirA (nV vs. P1, $4,800)
Moon is second in the LCS in kills and is fourth among junglers in assists. Although some regression may be coming, I don't think Dignitas present much of a threat Friday. LirA is a punt play for salary relief, but with not many cheap options on the slate, he has modest upside at a minuscule price point.
Middle Lane: Hai (FLY vs. DIG, $7,700)/Keane (DIG vs. FLY, $6,000)
Hai leads all mid laners in kills and I'd expect him to keep things rolling against Dignitas. While I don't like the matchup, Keane has had success in certain games for DIG, and is cheap enough to use. Ryu has the best matchup, but is probably overpriced for his production thus far.
ADC: Altec (FLY vs. DIG, $7,700)
Altec is top four in kills and leads NA marksmen in assists so far this season. Arrow is the top play, but is expensive. I wouldn't expect a huge production gap at the end of the day between Arrow and Altec, so saving a few bucks on the FlyQuest marksmen makes sense.
Support: LemonNation (FLY vs.DIG, $6,000)
Lemon rounds out the FlyQuest stack. He leads the LCS in assists and should pad that total against a struggling Dignitas side.
Team: FLY vs. DIG ($5,500)
FlyQuest will look to bounce back from a close series against C9 Sunday by taking out Dignitas today. P1 has the easier matchup but the slight savings on FlyQuest make sense in what should another win.
