DraftKings LoL: Friday Cheat Sheet
Today's slate would have looked even better if GIANTS hadn't been destroyed yesterday. Most of these series look destined for ties with favorites Splyce, G2 and Fnatic having the best 2-0 odds. ROCCAT and Origen might end up being the best series for fantasy purposes, as it could be an extremely messy series. It's hard to predict which side you want to be on however. Unicorns of Love are coming off of a big 2-0 of GIANTS yesterday and are priced as favorites against Vitality today.
Top Lane: Cabochard (VIT vs. UoL, $6,200)
Cabo wasn't off the charts great Thursday, but he was pretty solid at his price point, finishing with a 7/7/16 KDA on the game. He's even cheaper today and although UoL are coming off of a sweep, I think Vitality at least take one game here. At his cheap price the upside to go off is there and makes him a worthy pick.
Jungle: Trick (G2 vs. H2K $6,600)
Likewise Trick wasn't great in yesterday's draw against Splyce and facing H2K is always kind of risky due to the passive nature of the team. That said, Trick is still the jungler with the highest upside and is cheap enough that he doesn't hurt you. I also like Trashy who's been outstanding lately and is even cheaper against GIANTS.
Middle Lane: Sencux (SPY vs. GIA, $7,200)
Sencux has been a huge part of Splyce's resurgence. It's kind of easy to jump off the GIANTS bandwagon after yesterday, but I will say that this matchup still carries some risk. Night has been pretty good for GIANTS all split, but Splyce and Sencux are the more consistent team. This series looks likely to tie, but if there's a winner I'd lean toward Splyce.
ADC: Kobbe (SPY vs. GIA, $7,200)
Similarly, Kobbe's huge improvement from last split is another big reason Splyce are where they are. Again this carries some risk, as GIANTS hot streak was in part due to the improvement from Sonstar. I think Splyce are the better team, and if they win, Kobbe will be a big reason why.
Support: kaSing (VIT vs. UoL, $5,100)
Going back to kaSing again today after he paid off nicely for us Thursday. He finished the day with 24 assists and could get back to a lofty total again against UoL. This series is likely to tie, but I like Vitality at the cheaper price over UoL.
Team: VIT vs. UoL ($4,600)
I've said a few times that I think this series probably ties. That said, if there is going to be a winner, I'll take Vitality. They've been fairly disappointing this year, but have played better of late with Shook back in the lineup. UoL dominated Thursday, but their lack of consistency makes them a target when it comes to DFS purposes.
