DraftKings LoL: Friday Cheat Sheet
Friday's slate is full of some interesting options in Europe. Vitality vs. H2K looks like the best matchup on paper, but I think ROCCAT vs. Schalke could take that title after the games are played. G2 and Fnatic come into the day heavy favorites against UoL and Splyce respectively. Giants and Origen is interesting in a sense, mainly if you think Origen can follow up their dominating performance from Thursday. I think it's likely, but it's hard to trust OG right now. In tournaments I like a H2K/S04 stack or a FNC/GIA stack if you're feeling really bold.
Top Lane: Odoamne (H2K vs. VIT, $6,900)
Again, he's cheap and even though the Vitality name may give you pause, I think H2K will sweep this series. Odoamne is the "old reliable" in the top lane and when he's on tanks he usually ends with 10+ assists. On the flip side I actually do like Cabochard as well today. If Vitality stand a chance, it'll be through Cabo. Combined with his cheap price and opportunity for success, the Vitality player makes for a nice upside play as well Friday.
Jungle: Jankos (H2K vs. VIT , $6,600)
I love picking up good junglers for under $7,000 whenever possible. Game 2 against G2 went pretty bad for the team as a whole, but they showed off their style of play in Game 1. That involves an active Jankos in the early game and usually ends with him being pretty high on the scoring chart. Today's matchup with Vitality should lead to a high point total. I also like Trick and Spirit at the top, and Gilius on the cheaper end.
Middle Lane: Fox (S04 vs. ROC, $6,900)
On paper this looks like a tie, but that's why they play the games. I am leaning toward ROCCAT in this matchup mainly because they are the cheaper of the two teams. Fox has been in the thick of the S04 wins this year and should provide a good return on value at his cheap price. Perkz and Febiven are much better options in the mid lane, but each come with a much higher salary that may be hard to fit into a lineup.
ADC: MrRallez (S04 vs. ROC, $7,000)
Again value leads me to the S04 side of this matchup. Rallez is a bit inconsistent, but if S04 take a game or the series he'll be heavily involved. It's hard to pay up everywhere today and I actually prefer H2K's top, jungle, and support over their two carries. Rekkles and Zven are great options at the top and Steeelback also makes for a good gamble on the opposite side of this matchup.
Support: Vander (H2K vs. VIT, $5,800)
I think it's almost a guarantee he ends both games with over 10 assists. The only scary thing is that sometimes H2K avoid conflict, but their objective strategy hasn't been nearly as bad for fantasy owners as it was during the Spring Split. Still, the possibility is there. If you don't like the risk, I'd pivot to a cheaper support like sprattel.
Team: H2K vs. VIT ($5,300)
I think H2K win 2-0 and even if they don't, you know they love to take those objectives. That should help their team score on Friday.
