India Women vs. England Women: Third ODI Preview

The Indian eves will look to end the series on a high as they take on England Women in the third and final ODI of the series at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday morning. India have already sealed the fate of the series in their favour after putting on commanding performances in the first two matches. While it was Ekta Bisht's spin that led to England's destruction in the first match, it was pace that did the trick for India in the second match.

The England women's side on the other hand will look to salvage some pride having lost both of the first two matches. Neither their batting nor their bowling has been up to the mark. Their fielding has been pretty ordinary as well. So they have a lot of things to improve if they want to end the series on a good note.

Weather and Pitch conditions: Cloudy Sky but no chance of rain. The pitch at Wankhede is generally a good one to bat on. The pitch slows down as the match progresses. So the spinners might come into play during the latter part of the match.

Player Recommendations:

Wicket-keeper: Sarah Taylor (9.5 Cr)

Taylor got dismissed cheaply in both of the previous matches and might not be in the best of forms. But she is too good a player to leave out and she has every chance to come up with her best in this match.

Batsman: Smriti Mandhana (10.5 Cr)

Batsman: Smriti Mandhana (10.5 Cr)

Mandhana has been a vital cog for the Indian eves in recent times. She scores runs quickly at the top of the order, and also scored a match winning 62 in the previous match.

All-Rounder: Natalie Sciver (9.5 Cr)

Sciver is the only English player who has looked to be in good firm in this series. She has scored runs with the bat and has also found her amongst the wickets.

Bowler: Poonam Yadav (9 Cr)

Yadav bowled an economical spell of 2/18 in the previous match, and she would be looking to carry that momentum with her into this match as well.

Captain: Natalie Sciver

Vice-Captain: Smriti Mandhana
