The Monkeys won two of three against the Brothers last weekend, reclaiming the top spot in the standings once again. They haven't been at their best in June but appear to be turning things around after winning four of their last six games. The Guardians, on the other hand, went 1-4 last week and gave up at least 10 runs in each of those defeats. They've now fallen to the bottom of the standings with a disappointing 17-24 record. The Guardians will send on of their best pitchers to the mound in Mike Loree Jr., who's recorded wins and quality starts in both starts against the Monkeys this season, something he hasn't done in any of his other three outings. His 5.83 ERA doesn't stand out, but he could represent the Guardians' best chance to win right now. The Monkeys will counter with Lin Hua-Ching, who will be making his season debut. He had two dreadful starts in 2019, posting a 11.37 ERA and 2.05 WHIP in 6.1 innings.
