DraftKings Sportsbook: Wednesday NBA Picks

DraftKings Sportsbook: Wednesday NBA Picks

This article is part of our NBA Picks series.

Alex Barutha

Steph Curry 35+ points and 8+ assists (+1400) at Jazz -- DraftKings, 2:32 PM CT

This is a bit of an ugly slate, and nothing stood out to me as great value on the surface, so I'm simply opting to bet on Curry having a big game against a Jazz team without Rudy Gobert (calf). Curry has reached 35-and-8 four times this season -- obviously coming close on plenty of other occasions. Dissecting whether +1400 is "good value" or not is difficult, but I think if this scenario played out 14 times, Curry would reach 35-and-8 at least once.

Nick Whalen

Minnesota Timberwolves -9.0 (-110) at Sacramento Kings -- DraftKings Sportsbook, 2:00 PM CT

This number might come down if Domantas Sabonis is able to debut for the Kings, but either way, it'll be a hectic night for a team that sent out two key guards within the last 24 hours. It's also a difficult back-to-back for De'Aaron Fox, who made his return to action Tuesday night after missing time with an ankle injury. Minnesota won last night's matchup in runaway fashion (134-114) and I would expect a similar result in the rematch -- especially if Sabonis isn't able to play.

Kirien Sprecher

Chicago Bulls -2 (-105) @ Charlotte HornetsDraftKings Sportsbook 12:30 PM

The Hornets have lost five straight games and are 2-5 when Gordon Hayward – who is sidelined indefinitely with an ankle injury – is unavailable. The Bulls have lost back-to-back games as well, but those came against the Suns and 76ers, who are two of the hottest teams in the NBA. Both squads need to get back on track, but I have the Bulls taking this one on the back of dominating performances from Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan and Nikola Vucevic.

Joe Bartel

Chris Boucher over 14.5 points + rebounds (-120) -- DraftKings, 2:30 PM CT

Every once in a while, DraftKings will throw these types of nuggets on players who have no business having props. Almost always I'm a proponent of the under, but not this time. Vegas has the Raptors favored by 10 points in this one, which certainly seems to indicate blowout potential. It stands to reason Boucher should get some additional minutes in the event things get out of hand. In that case, the 29-year-old would obviously benefit, especially given the Thunder's porous frontcourt defense. Over 8.5 points (-105) felt a little worrisome to me and over 6.5 rebounds (-110), while reasonable, doesn't carry quite the same value as a combo of the two, hence the selection.
