The UFC is back at the Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, April 4 for UFC Vegas 115. In the main event, lightweight contenders throw down, as Renato Moicano takes on Chris Duncan.
Below, I'll share my UFC Vegas 115 predictions, including my favorite pick, an underdog, a prop and a two-fighter parlay. All UFC odds are via the DraftKings Sportsbook and are accurate as of the post date of this article.
Weight Class: Lightweight
Chris Duncan (15-2) vs. Renato Moicano (20-7-1)
Chris Duncan is taking on Renato Moicano in a fan-friendly main event, and I like Duncan to get his hand raised.
Duncan has won four straight fights and is looking very impressive, and I like this matchup for him here in the top-billed fight. Moicano has lost back-to-back fights, although one fight was on short notice to Islam Makhachev for the belt.
I like Duncan to land the more damaging shots and eventually sink in a submission win in the second or third round. Moicano is there to be hit, and Duncan's power and grappling ability will be the difference here.
UFC Vegas 115 Bet: Chris Duncan (-192)

Weight Class: Women's bantamweight
Hailey Cowan (7-4) vs. Alice Pereira (5-1)
There aren't many underdogs I like on this card, as there are multiple heavy favorites, but I will take a shot on Hailey Cowan to get the win.
I don't believe either Cowan or Pereira are UFC caliber, but I do think Cowan's wrestling and strength could be the difference. If Cowan is going to win, I expect it to be a very grinding-type of win with clinch work, wrestling, and stalling out Pereira, who has some skills striking.
However, I like Cowan to win the minutes in this matchup en route to her first UFC victory. It could very well be a loser-gets-cut fight.
UFC Vegas 115 Bet: Hailey Cowan (+100)

Weight Class: Featherweight
Tommy McMillen (9-0) vs. Manolo Zecchini (11-4)
For my prop at UFC Vegas 115, I'm taking Tommy McMillen and Manolo Zecchini's fight to go under 1.5 rounds.
McMillen is someone the UFC is high on, and this seems like a setup fight for him -- essentially giving him a layup in his debut to get a highlight-reel win. The teammate of Sean O'Malley, McMillen edged out a decision in his Contender Series fight, and he leaves his chin in the air, which is a concern against better competition.
However, McMillen is a great grappler, and I expect him to get Zecchini down early and submit him in the first round.
UFC Vegas 115 Bet: Tommy McMillen & Manolo Zecchini under 1.5 rounds (-154)
Weight Class: Featherweight & flyweight
Jose Delano (16-3) vs. Robert Ruchala (11-2)
Alessandro Costa (14-5) vs. Stewart Nicoll (8-2)
For parlay at UFC Vegas 115, I'm taking Jose Delano and Alessandro Costa to get their hands raised Saturday.
Delano is making his UFC debut against Ruchala, who lost his debut last year in a lackluster fight. Delano is a great, well-rounded fighter. He has KO power but is also a great grappler. I expect Delano to be more active on the feet and land the more damaging shots to either win a clear-cut decision or a TKO win in the later rounds.
In the other leg, I like Costa todefeat Nicoll. Costa is 2-3 in the UFC, but he has impressed me. He now takes on Nicoll, who is 0-2 with the company. The Brazilian (Costa) should be able to keep this fight standing and land the better shots, as Nicoll is absorbing 6.69 significant strikes per minute. That is a concern against Costa here, who's a solid striker, which should lead to the win.
UFC Vegas 115 Bet: Jose Delano & Alessandro Costa (-175)
