Next David Montgomery?
RBFree Agent
April 7, 2026
Liz Loza of ESPN suggests that Coleman has a similar skillset to David Montgomery.
ANALYSIS
Coleman has become a polarizing prospect due to the contrast in his level of production at Washington against his perceived lack of athleticism. However, his 97th percentile BMI and 9.7 percent college target share suggest he should be able to handle work in all game situations. Loza believes that will be enough for him to immediately contribute in a rotational running back role, similar to Montgomery at his peak.
