Hot
Daniel Sedin (W) Vancouver – Sedin has started off the 2010-11 campaign on fire with seven goals and three assists in seven games. Even more impressive for fantasy owners is that three of those goals have come on the power play. If he keeps up this pace we could have another Sedin winning the Hart Trophy this season.
Marty Turco (G) Chicago – That's four straight wins and counting for Turco, who has come on strong after a slow start to his Hawks career. Turco was probably taken in the mid to late rounds of your draft, but if he keeps up this kind of performance, he will be a steal.
Cold
Tuukka Rask (G) Boston – Rask was thought to be the starting goaltender heading into the season for the Bruins, but he gave up four goals on 36 shots in his first game and hasn't started since. What makes matters even worse is that backup Tim Thomas has been lights out ever since and is showing no signs of giving the job back to Rask.
Mike Knuble (W) Washington – Knuble has gone scoreless in his last five games after scoring a goal in the first game of the season. One would think that wasn't possible playing with the great Alexander Ovechkin, but the entire Capitals team seems to be in funk at this point in time.
Recommended Pickup
Matt Moulson (W) Islanders – Moulson came out of nowhere to score 30 goals for the Isles last season. This season, however, he had his doubters (including yours truly) that he would not be able to replicate that kind of production, but with four goals in his first seven games this season, including the game-winner in overtime Thursday, he is well on his way to proving his skeptics wrong.
