Golf One and Done 2026: Full Season Expert Picks
One and Done has been one of the most rapidly growing fantasy golf formats. It can be somewhat intimidating at first to figure out where to play all the top players, but fortunately we have you covered with a full breakdown and picks for every event on the 2026 PGA Tour schedule.
2026 PGA Tour Schedule and OAD Picks
1. Sony Open in Hawaii (Jan. 15-18)
Course: Waialae Country Club
2025 Purse: $8,700,000
Defending Champion: Nick Taylor $1,566,000
OAD Pick: Hideki Matsuyama
Matsuyama has a strong history of starting out the season strong. Just look at his season-opening win last year at The Sentry. While Kapalua won't be on the schedule to start the year in 2026, Waialae is another place that Matsuyama has performed well at with four top-20s in his last six starts, including a win in 2022.
2. The American Express (Jan. 22-25)
Courses: PGA West Stadium Course, PGA West Nicklaus Tournament Course, La Quinta CC
2025 Purse: $8,800,000
Defending Champion: Sepp Straka $1,584,000
OAD Pick: Harry Hall
The American Express is a tournament where you need to make a lot of birdies and not many were better at that last season than Hall. The Englishman ranked third in birdie average thanks to his elite putting numbers of third in SG: Putting, first in putts per GIR and second in one-putt percentage.
3. Farmers Insurance Open (Jan. 29-Feb. 1)
Courses: Torrey Pines South Course, Torrey Pines North Course
2025 Purse: $9,300,000
Defending Champion: Harris English $1,674,000
OAD Pick: Michael Thorbjornsen
Torrey Pines is one of the most demanding driving courses on Tour, so why not take arguably the best driver from 2025? Thorbjornsen ranked first in total driving and seventh in SG: Off-the-Tee. He also paced the Tour in GIR percentage. Long and straight off the tee plus hitting a lot of greens is going to equal success at Torrey Pines. Thorbjornsen has breakout potential written all over him.
4. WM Phoenix Open (Feb. 5-8)
Course: TPC Scottsdale
2025 Purse: $9,200,000
Defending Champion: Thomas Detry $1,656,000
OAD Pick: Jordan Spieth
Spieth will have a lot to prove in 2026 coming off another disappointing season where he battled injury. No matter his form, TPC Scottsdale is somewhere he has been able to find comfort in. Spieth has six top-10 finishes in nine career starts here, including three straight.
5. AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am (Feb. 12-15) [Signature Event]
Courses: Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass Hill Golf Course
2025 Purse: $20,000,000
Defending Champion: Rory McIlroy $3,600,000
OAD Pick: Patrick Cantlay
Cantlay is one of the best putters on Poa annua greens on Tour and always seems to be able to get out of the gates strong. He has a stellar history at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am with five top-11 finishes in eight career starts.
6. The Genesis Invitational (Feb. 19-22) [Signature Event]
Course: The Riviera Country Club
2025 Purse: $20,000,000
Defending Champion: Ludvig Aberg (at Torry Pines) $4,000,000
OAD Pick: Viktor Hovland
Riviera is one of the strongest ball-striking tests on the schedule, and there's not many better in that department on Tour than Hovland. Perhaps it's no surprise he has finished T5-T4-T20-T19 in four career starts at Riv.
7. Cognizant Classic (Feb. 26-Mar. 1)
Course: PGA National Resort
2025 Purse: $9,200,000
Defending Champion: Joe Highsmith $1,656,000
OAD Pick: Shane Lowry
PGA National is as dangerous a course as there is on the PGA Tour, but Lowry has mastered it of late. He's never missed a cut in eight career starts and has gone 2nd-T5-T4-T11 the last four years. Lowry's ability to keep the ball in play and flight it down in the wind is a big reason for his success around PGA National.
8. Arnold Palmer Invitational (Mar. 5-8) [Signature Event]
Course: Bay Hill Club & Lodge
2025 Purse: $20,000,000
Defending Champion: Russell Henley $4,000,000
OAD Pick: Rory McIlroy
Bay Hill requires you to hit it long and straight, and there's not many better than McIlroy in that department. It's a big reason why he has never finished worse than T27 in 11 career starts, including a win back in 2018. McIlroy is also coming off the best putting season of his career and he loves the quick greens at Bay Hill.
9. THE PLAYERS Championship (Mar. 12-15) [PGA Tour Flagship Event]
Course: TPC Sawgrass
2025 Purse: $25,000,000
Defending Champion: Rory McIlroy $4,500,000
OAD Pick: Scottie Scheffler
Outside of the TOUR Championship, THE PLAYERS is the largest single event purse of the season, so why wait any longer to use the No. 1 player? Scheffler won this tournament back-to-back in 2023 and 2024. The four-time major winner is so controlled from tee to green, as he ranked second in SG: Off-the-Tee, first in SG: Approach, ninth in total driving, 11th in GIR percentage and first in proximity last season. That will be huge on a course with so much danger.
10. Valspar Championship (Mar. 19-22)
Course: Innisbrook Resort Copperhead Course
2025 Purse: $8,700,000
Defending Champion: Viktor Hovland $1,566,000
OAD Pick: Lucas Glover
The Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort is a very tactical course. A lot of veterans have had success there over the years and Glover has certainly been one of them. The 46-year-old has eight top-25s at the Valspar Championship and has made his last seven cuts. Glover's driving accuracy, sharp iron play and solid short game will prevail at this venue.
11. Texas Children's Houston Open (Mar. 26-29)
Course: Memorial Park Golf Course
2025 Purse: $9,500,000
Defending Champion: Min Woo Lee $1,710,000
OAD Pick: Stephan Jaeger
The formula at Memorial Park has been pretty simple for the most part. The course caters to players who can hit it long and are strong around the greens. Enter Jaeger who won this event back in 2024 and has finished T11 or better the last three years at Memorial Park.
12. Valero Texas Open (Apr. 2-5)
Course: TPC San Antonio Oaks Course
2025 Purse: $9,500,000
Defending Champion: Brian Harman $1,710,000
OAD Pick: Corey Conners
Really no point in trying to overthink this one. Both of Conners' PGA Tour wins have come at TPC San Antonio (2019, 2023). He has never finished worse than T35 in seven career starts. The Oaks Course is one of the most demanding from tee to green on Tour, and there's not many more reliable from a ball-striking perspective than Conners.
13. The Masters Tournament (Apr. 9-12) [Major Championship]
Course: Augusta National Golf Club
2025 Purse: $21,000,000
Defending Champion: Rory McIlroy $4,200,000
OAD Pick: Ludvig Aberg
I'm expecting Aberg to have a big year in 2026, and it wouldn't surprise me if he took home a major. The Masters is probably the best spot for him to do it as he has finished runner-up and seventh in two career tries at Augusta National. When Aberg is on he is arguably the best driver in the world, which is a huge advantage around this course. He has also putted extremely well on these very undulating greens.
14. RBC Heritage (Apr. 16-19) [Signature Event]
Course: Harbour Town Golf Links
2025 Purse: $20,000,000
Defending Champion: Justin Thomas $3,600,000
OAD Pick: Russell Henley
Henley is coming off the best season of his career in which he reeled off 10 top-10 finishes. His game is very well suited for a course like Harbour Town. Henley is extremely accurate off the tee, a tremendously consistent iron player and has a reliable short game. The five-time PGA Tour winner has finished top 20 in four of the last five years at this event.
15. Miami Championship (Apr. 30-May 3) [Signature Event]
Course: Trump National Doral
2025 Purse: N/A
Defending Champion: N/A
OAD Pick: Harris English
English is one of a handful of high level players who actually has experience at Doral. He finished T16 and 10th in two attempts back when it used to be part of the PGA Tour schedule. We often see the wind pick up here and English seems to always thrive when that is the case. English has always been a great driver and putter, but 2025 was one of the best approach seasons of his career.
16. Truist Championship (May 7-10) [Signature Event]
Course: Quail Hollow Club
2025 Purse: $20,000,000
Defending Champion: Sepp Straka (at Philadelphia Cricket Club) $3,600,000
OAD Pick: Xander Schauffele
Schauffele finished runner-up at Quail Hollow in 2023 and 2024. This course tests a player all the way through the bag, and when he's on not many are better across the board than Schauffele. I expect him to have a big bounce back season after a rib injury impacted him quite a bit in 2025.
17. PGA Championship (May 14-17) [Major Championship]
Course: Aronimink Golf Club
2025 Purse: $19,000,000
Defending Champion: Scottie Scheffler (at Quail Hollow) $3,420,000
OAD Pick: Bryson DeChambeau
It doesn't matter what the course has been, DeChambeau has thrived on PGA Championship setups recently. He has finished T4 or better in four of his last five starts at the PGA Championship and that Wanamaker Trophy is calling his name. DeChambeau's much improved short-game and putting has been a big difference for him in majors over the last few years.
18. THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson (May 21-24)
Course: TPC Craig Ranch
2025 Purse: $9,900,000
Defending Champion: Scottie Scheffler $1,782,000
OAD Pick: Si Woo Kim
Kim has finished inside the top 15 the last three years at TPC Craig Ranch and been among the leaders in SG: Approach at the event over that time. He comes into 2026 with a lot of momentum having finished top 25 in his last six starts in 2025.
19. Charles Schwab Challenge (May 28-31)
Course: Colonial Country Club
2025 Purse: $9,500,000
Defending Champion: Ben Griffin $1,710,000
OAD Pick: Daniel Berger
Berger had a terrific start to 2025 with nine top-25 finishes in his first 12 starts. He faded down the stretch, but that was likely due to some fatigue after having to play virtually the entire fall schedule in 2024 to keep his card. Berger will be much fresher going into 2026 having just played in one fall event last season. Colonial is a place he has won at before (2020) and plays into his strengths from tee to green.
20. The Memorial Tournament (June 4-7) [Signature Event]
Course: Muirfield Village Golf Club
2025 Purse: $20,000,000
Defending Champion: Scottie Scheffler $4,000,000
OAD Pick: Collin Morikawa
Muirfield Village has been arguably Morikawa's best course on the PGA Tour with a win and two other runner-up finishes. It's no surprise when you consider that Muirfield Village is one of the most important second shot golf courses, and Morikawa has been amongst the leaders in SG: Approach since he came on Tour. He tailed off at the end of 2025, but Morikawa is too talented to not be a factor again by this time in 2026.
21. RBC Canadian Open (June 11-14)
Course: TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley
2025 Purse: $9,800,000
Defending Champion: Ryan Fox $1,764,00
OAD Pick: Michael Brennan
Brennan was an amazing story in 2025. He won the Fortinet Cup on the PGA Tour Americas after winning three times, two of those victories coming in Canada. He then got a sponsors exemption into the Bank of Utah Championship an won by four strokes to secure status on the PGA Tour. Brennan is an extremely talented player who should be a force on Tour for years to come. This seems like the best place to use him, as he's familiar with TPC Toronto.
22. U.S. Open (June 18-21) [Major Championship]
Course: Shinnecock Hills Golf Club
2025 Purse: $21,500,000
Defending Champion: J.J. Spaun (at Oakmont) $4,300,000
OAD Pick: Jon Rahm
Rahm has finished T12 or better in five of his last six starts at the U.S. Open, including his win in 2021. Shinnecock is one of the most difficult golf courses in the world and Rahm's elite ball striking will be a huge advantage. He hasn't been talked about as much amongst the elite players since his move to LIV Golf in 2024, but you know he is dying to get back to the top of that mountain.
23. Travelers Championship (June 25-28) [Signature Event]
Course: TPC River Highlands
2025 Purse: $20,000,000
Defending Champion: Keegan Bradley $3,600,000
OAD Pick: Justin Thomas
Thomas is expected to miss the first part of the 2026 season with a back injury, but I think by this point he'll be back up to full health. Thomas has been very strong of late at TPC River Highlands finishing T9-T5-T9 the last three years. He'll be able to throttle back from driver a lot and he's coming off one of the best putting seasons of his career. Thomas has also had one of the strongest combinations of iron play and short-game over the last five years.
24. John Deere Classic (July 2-5)
Course: TPC Deere Run
2025 Purse: $8,400,000
Defending Champion: Brian Campbell $1,512,000
OAD Pick: Denny McCarthy
McCarthy has to be in the conversation as best player to have never won on the PGA Tour. TPC Deere Run seems like it would be the perfect spot for that drought to end. McCarthy has gone T6-T6-T7-T11 the last four years at the John Deere Classic. He's one of the best putters on Tour.
25. Genesis Scottish Open (July 9-12)
Course: The Renaissance Club
2025 Purse: $9,000,000
Defending Champion: Chris Gotterup $1,575,000
OAD Pick: Matt Fitzpatrick
Fitzpatrick always seems to thrive on links style courses and the Scottish Open has been kind to him over the years finishing inside the top 15 on five different occasions. His second-half of 2025 was spectacular.
26. The Open Championship (July 16-19) [Major Championship]
Course: Royal Birkdale Golf Club
2025 Purse: $17,000,000
Defending Champion: Scottie Scheffler (at Royal Portrush) $3,100,000
OAD Pick: Tommy Fleetwood
Fleetwood has been so close at majors over the last several years. He finally got the first monkey off his back by winning a PGA Tour event at last season's TOUR Championship. A first major title on a golf course he played many times growing up would be quite the story. Fleetwood has finished T16-or-better in five of his last seven starts at The Open. He is a tactician who should be able to pick apart Royal Birkdale. Fleetwood is also coming off the best putting season of his career.
27. 3M Open (July 23-26)
Course: TPC Twin Cities
2025 Purse: $8,400,000
Defending Champion: Kurt Kitayama $1,512,000
OAD Pick: Kurt Kitayama
Kitayama is too good of a player to not play somewhere and TPC Twin Cities has been very kind to him with a T6 and a win the last two years. Kitayama ranked seventh in SG: Tee-to-Green last season and that quality ball striking is certainly a big key to get it around a place with a lot of water.
28. Rocket Classic (July 30-Aug. 2)
Course: Detroit Golf Club
2025 Purse: $9,600,000
Defending Champion: Aldrich Potgieter $1,728,000
OAD Pick: Johnny Keefer
Keefer was the top ranked player on the Korn Ferry Tour last season, and he's got the game to stay on the PGA Tour for a long time. Keefer ranked fourth in total driving and seventh in putts per round last season on the KFT. Driving it long and sinking putts have been the formula throughout the years at the Rocket Classic.
29. Wyndham Championship (Aug. 6-9)
Course: Sedgefield Country Club
2025 Purse: $8,200,000
Defending Champion: Cameron Young $1,476,000
OAD Pick: Sami Valimaki
Sedgefield CC is a course where length isn't a huge factor, but you need to hit a lot of greens and make a lot of putts. One of the first names that came to mind was Valimaki who ranked top 20 last season in both SG: Approach and SG: Putting, one of only two players do so. Valimaki became the first players from Finland to win on the PGA Tour last fall at the RSM Classic.
30. FedEx St. Jude Championship (Aug. 13-16) [Playoff Event]
Course: TPC Southwind
2025 Purse: $20,000,000
Defending Champion: Justin Rose $3,600,000
OAD Pick: Ben Griffin
People still don't realize just how good Griffin is. He comes into 2026 in the top 10 in both the DataGolf rankings and OWGR. That level of skill makes you have to use him at one of the big money events. TPC Southwind seems like a great spot. He finished top 10 there last year and his balance through the bag bodes well for attacking a course with a lot of trouble lurking.
31. BMW Championship (Aug. 20-23) [Playoff Event]
Course: Bellerive Country Club
2025 Purse: $20,000,000
Defending Champion: Scottie Scheffler (at Caves Valley) $3,600,000
OAD Pick: Sam Burns
The BMW Championship is one of the only events on the PGA Tour that rotates around, but wherever it has been Burns has been strong. The former LSU standout has never finished outside the top 20 in five starts, including finishes of T2 and T4 the last two years. Burns has been arguably the best putter on Tour over the last few years and Bellerive very well could turn into a shootout where you need to be making a lot on the greens.
32. TOUR Championship (Aug. 27-30) [Playoff Event]
Course: East Lake Golf Club
2025 Purse: $40,000,000
Defending Champion: Tommy Fleetwood $10,000,000
OAD Pick: Cameron Young
Players who have been able to consistently work the ball right-to-left have had success over the years at East Lake, and Young is one of the few power players in today's game that prefers to hit a draw. Young showed out at East Lake last year en route to a T4 finish. He brings a ton of confidence into 2026 after picking up his first PGA Tour win at the Wyndham Championship.
