2026 Fantasy Outlook
Pavon got off to a blazing start to his PGA Tour career after earning a card via the Race to Dubai. He won the Farmers Insurance Open in January which came right in the middle of three top-10s in a four-start stretch. While it was pretty spotty through the rest of the year, the Frenchman did post a T12 at the Masters and then a 5th at the U.S. Open. Pavon ranked 110th on the PGA Tour last season in SG: Total, which is certainly a concern because it's hard to rely on a couple good finishes carrying you form an earnings perspective. Pavon recorded a 36-hole score of six-over-par to miss the cut at the Memorial Tournament this past week by one shot.
ANALYSIS
Pavon's underwhelming short-game performance kept him from advancing to the weekend at Muirfield Village, where he lost 4.5 collective strokes on and around the greens while converting only eight of 17 total scrambling opportunities across two rounds. He remains without a single top-40 result through his first 15 events played of the 2025 season, falling to 153rd in the current FedExCup standings. Nonetheless, Pavon will tee it up again this week at the RBC Canadian Open.
