2026 Fantasy Outlook
After making over $5 million in 2024, Pavon could not get off the ground in 2025. He did not record a single top-25 finish last season while also missing 10 cuts in 26 starts. Pavon is still fully exempt in 2026 thanks to his victory at the 2024 Farmers Insurance Open, but he will need to perform far better in virtually every strokes gained category if he is going to retain his card for 2027. Share of 17th at the Cognizant
Pavon posted an eight-under cumulative score at the Cognizant Classic to finish in a six-way tie for 17th.
ANALYSIS
Pavon's score steadily improved over the course of the tournament, capped off by back-to-back, three-under 68 rounds over the weekend. Much of his success at PGA National came from his putter, as he led the field with 7.86 strokes gained on the green, though he ranked 64th in SG: Approach-to-Green, losing 4.09 strokes in that category. Pavon also led the field in feet of putts made and 26th in SG: Off-the-Tee. The 33-year-old Frenchman has made the cut in four of five Tour events this season, and his T17 was his best finish in over a year. Pavon will tee it off at the Puerto Rico Open next week for the first time in his career.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2025
2024
Pavon got off to a blazing start to his PGA Tour career after earning a card via the Race to Dubai. He won the Farmers Insurance Open in January which came right in the middle of three top-10s in a four-start stretch. While it was pretty spotty through the rest of the year, the Frenchman did post a T12 at the Masters and then a 5th at the U.S. Open. Pavon ranked 110th on the PGA Tour last season in SG: Total, which is certainly a concern because it's hard to rely on a couple good finishes carrying you form an earnings perspective. The bigget area for him to improve would be short game as he ranked 178th in SG: Around-the-Green.
