Kevin Coleman

22-Year-Old Wide ReceiverWR
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Coleman became Miami's third WR pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, going 177th overall in the fifth round after the team added both Caleb Douglas and Chris Bell in the third round. Bell easily had the highest production peak of the trio in college, but it was interrupted by an ACL tear last November, leaving his availability in doubt for the early part of 2026. For Coleman, it may be third-year pro Malik Washington who looms as the largest obstacle to playing time. At 5-foot-10, 179, the rookie unsurprisingly spent much of his college career in the slot, posting a cumulative 166-2,026-9 receiving line for three different programs (Louisville, Mississippi State, Missouri) over the past three seasons. Coleman didn't help himself with a 4.49 40 at the 2026 NFL Combine, but he's at least done well to land with a team that's badly in need of help at his position (among others). Read Past Outlooks

April 25, 2026
The Dolphins selected Coleman in the fifth round of the 2026 NFL Draft, 177th overall.
ANALYSIS
Coleman played for four different schools during his four-year college career, which ended in 2025 with Missouri, when he posted 66 catches for 732 yards and one touchdown across 13 games. He served primarily as a slot wide receiver and had the explosiveness to beat the first man, and his experience as a punt returner could earn him playing time in his rookie season in the NFL. Coleman is the third wide receiver selected by the Dolphins in this year's draft, joining Texas Tech's Caleb Douglas and Louisville's Chris Bell.

Starting reps in rookie season?
WRMiami Dolphins
May 9, 2026
Omar Kelly of the Miami Herald believes Coleman has a great chance of earning starting snaps as a rookie due to his skillset out of the slot and his proven ability to learn new offensive schemes.
ANALYSIS
The Dolphins grabbed both Caleb Douglas and Chris Bell in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft before selecting Coleman in the fifth. Douglas has good size and athleticism and Bell should have his own opportunities once he fully recovers from a torn ACL that he suffered in November. However, Kelly notes that Coleman has a leg up on his rookie counterparts after learning four different offenses in four different schools in college. Coleman has the soft hands, quickness and ability to create separation that put him in a great spot to be Miami's primary slot receiver for the upcoming season. Malik Washington, Tahj Washington and A.J. Henning will be Coleman's main competition at the slot.
