DraftKings Rocket League: Friday Cheat Sheet

  • 11:20 p.m: The Good The Bad The Ugly (TGBU) vs. FURY (FURY)
  • 12:00 a.m: 5/2: Cringe Society (CS) vs. Canberra Havoc (CH)

Champions Club vs. Ground Zero Gaming

The first match of the Rocket League Spring Series in the Oceanic division features the RLCS Champions in Ground Zero Gaming against Champions Club, who have now been picked up and will play under the "Overt" banner. Ground Zero Gaming come in as overwhelming favorites, not just for this match but for the Spring Series title, and they will look to establish that early against Overt. This Overt side came through the open qualifiers and will look to start the tournament off with a shock. Unfortunately for Overt, they play the no. 1 team in the Oceanic region and will be hard-pressed to shut down Julz,: in particular.

GZ Players to Target: Julz ($16,800 Captain, $11,200 Flex)

Renegades vs. Mindfreak

The second game of the day is an RLCS rematch, with Renegades squaring off against Mindfreak in a match that both teams would have wanted to avoid in the first round. Mindfreak come into the Spring Series looking to avenge a fourth-place playoffs finish, while Renegades will look to show that they are a top-four team in Oceania. The deciding factor is likely to be Siki, with the former regional MVP the catalyst for

The Good The Bad The Ugly vs. FURY

The penultimate match of Round 1 features TGBU vs. FURY, with FURY coming in as the RLCS runner's up, and one of the strongest teams in Oceania. TGBU will look to cause an upset, as the team consists of substitutes and Walcott from Canberra Havoc, who will look to lead the way. This FURY side brings a high-powered offense featuring Amphis, who is considered one of the best players in the region, alongside Scarth and KennySalmon, who will be looking to make a statement against TGBU. The value in this match comes from Amphis, who has potential to have a simply massive series.

TGBU Players to Target: Walcott ($13,200 Captain, $8,800 Flex)

FURY Players to Target: Amphis ($15,000 Captain, $10,000 Flex), KennySalmon ($14,100 Captain, $9,400 Flex)

Cringe Society vs. Canberra Havoc

The final match of the first round is between Cringe Society and Canberra Havoc, with both teams looking to pick up from their RLCS form. Canberra Havoc will be bringing out a new look roster featuring SSteve and Outlast following a 1-6 regular season that saw them exit RLCS in last place. Cringe Society were able to pick up the bronze medal and have added Decka from Ground Zero as they look to go a match further and join the grand finals of the RL Spring Series. This match offers some of the best value of the day, as Cringe Society look to dismantle Canberra Havoc.

CS Players to Target: Decka ($16,200 Captain, $10,800 Flex), Torsos ($13,800 Captain, $9,200 Flex)

CH Players to Target: Ssteve ($15,000 Captain, $10,000 Flex)
