SP vs. DYN
The LCK this season has been bloodier than previous years. LCK teams are shifting towards how the meta is supposed to be played, but at the cost of being able to make smart team decisions. SeolHaeOne Prince is one of those teams who are good in teamfights, but have horrible macro. In the two games that they played they showed the ability to get first blood in every game, but the inability to convert most of that into something bigger like dragon and turrets. Team Dynamics. on the other hand, has looked real good even in the loss against Afreeca as they have the understanding of how to put vision around objectives and rotate towards other lanes to influence a side. Their objective rating is more accurate as they are a top four team in every objective category. SP played three long games against HLE in what was said to be the sloppiest game of the year and thus their stats are highly skewed as they got dominated by DAMWON. DYN are the cleaner team here and they should be able to punish how sloppy SP have been playing.
Prediction: DYN 2-0
DYN Players to Target: Everyone
LNG vs. OMG
This game is basically a toilet bowl game. Even though LNG looked good, they were punished hard in the early game

LNG vs. OMG
This game is basically a toilet bowl game. Even though LNG looked good, they were punished hard in the early game by eStar. OMG have been playing some of their best LoL we have seen so far and their uptempo style is starting to be better. Earlier in the season I said that they looked like they were trying to be more proactive early which backfired hard, making them look like the worst team in the league. Now with some practices (aside from Game 1 against Dominus Esports), they were standing toe to toe against Top Esports and then dominated Dominus in the second game. OMG are bottom of the barrel in every category in the LPL, but from the eye test, these are two teams that are trending in the opposite direction after a few first games and these teams should start going back to how they were previously ranked going into the season.
Prediction: OMG 2-1
OMG Players to Target: Icon ($6,600), Curse ($5,400)
TES vs BLG
This is going to be a stomp if I've ever seen one. I ranted on Twitter for the last two years that the Bilibili coaching staff has to be one of the worst I've seen. BLG have a tank player in ADD and they looked good against Victory 5 when he was in, but the problem is the same as Rogue Warriors, that whenever they lose they will sub someone out automatically. Top Esports just wins this outright on how good their players are and even at a slow pace matchup, TES are still averaging 18.5 kills a game while BLG is in the middle of the pack for DPL.
Prediction: TES 2-0
TES Players to Target: Everyone
HLE vs. KT
This is a matchup between two teams that still need time to figure out how to synergize with their new players that were touted highly going into the Summer Split. We don't know starters, but the approach Hanwha Life Esports is trying to run out is by playing their young players in the top and jungle position which against a team like KT can be very punishable. KT ran out Smeb and they looked solid until they threw that series away to GenG in Game 3. Smeb made a huge difference on the map compared to the game against Team Dynamics and for a player who wanted to retire, he looked good helping provide a sense of direction on this team. With Smeb, Kuro, Aiming and Tusin, this is a savvy veteran team that knows how to adapt to any meta and this is a team that I wanted to see day one. Going forward, if this is the starting roster, there's a great chance that this team can finish top three.
Prediction: KT 2-0
KT Players to Target: Aiming ($8,000), Tusin ($5,400)
