DWG vs. GEN

This first game of the LCK features two of the top teams, with DWG sitting second with a one-game lead over Gen.G. Both teams will be very motivated to come out and get the victory in terms of playoff seedings and showing the rest of the league they are here to challenge DragonX. Gen.G won the first meeting back in Week 2 by a 2-1 score, and since then there has been a new patch and a small change to which champions are picked in draft phase. I like the side of DWG since they are on a five-series win streak and have the momentum for Thursday, but this game is as close as it gets. ShowMaker in the mid lane is still the leader in kills with 130 this split, while Nuguri in the top lane holds the second spot at 112. With both teams being viable, Ruler leads Gen.G with 155 kills while Bdd in the mid lane takes the second spot with 117.

Prediction to Win: DWG 2-1

V5 vs. RW

This will be V5's last series before playoffs, and after a huge 2-0 loss to EDG on Tuesday, I am expecting V5 to come out against RW for a statement game. This is most likely a V5 victory, but with the few upsets over the last two days I would proceed with caution. Y4 is starting this series for V5 and is the only sub risk to be cautious of because we saw both ADCs rotate in the last three series. I would also be cautious with this since V5 could lose the first game and bring in SamD, who they stuck with most of the season until recent struggles. Mole and Weiwei lead the team in kills since SamD will be sitting out for this first game. The rest of the team outside of Biubiu have a 70 percent kill participation, so leaving Biubiu out of the V5 stacks might be a place.

Prediction to Win: V5 2-1

RNG vs. BLG

This is a critical game for RNG in regards to playoffs since they are currently two games behind FPX and WE. BLG, on the other hand, are out of playoff contention and are only looking to play spoiler. RNG have looked better keeping Gala in the lineup, and they come in on a two-series win streak to hang on the edge of playoffs. This will be a tough matchup for RNG, but the better team fighting during mid-to-late game is where RNG should have some edge, with BLG showing multiple times this split that they can get an early lead but can't close out. The mid/jungle duo is a place to target with this game since XLB leads the team with 117 kills while Xiaohu second with 101. XLB shows up again along with Gala leading the kill participation.

Prediction to Win: RNG 2-1

  • RNG Players to Target: Gala ($7,800), Xiaohu ($7,600), XLB ($7,000)

T1 vs. SP

T1 comes into this match as the rightful heavy favorite against SP, and since T1 still have something to play for, they will be taking this series seriously. We have seen Clozer play the last two series for T1, and I assume this will be the case again up against a weak opponent, but we won't know the lineup before lock so the safe option would be leaving out T1's mid lane. Teddy and Canna lead the team in kills with 137 and 100, respectively, while the rest of the team drops under 50 this split. In terms of kill participation, everyone sits between 60 – 69 percent, which shows everyone is involved in team fights. Barring any disasters in the early game, T1 should have an easy time in a likely sweep.

Prediction to Win: T1 2-0

  • T1 Players to Target: Everyone
