Rashid Khan (AFG)
First in the list features Afghanistan's ace spinner Rashid Khan. The right-arm leggie will be leading his side in the upcoming mega-event, and more importantly, his bowling will be pivotal for his team, especially because the competition is being organised in the Sub-continent, where the pitches are bound to assist the spinners more. Rashid remains the highest wicket-taker in the history of T20Is with 187 scalps to his name with an economy rate of just over six runs per over.
Tim David (AUS)
Second in the list features Australia's explosive batter Tim David. The right-hander is renowned for his hard hitting in the 20-over format, where his numbers are quite exceptional. In T20Is, David has featured in 68 matches for Australia, where he has already scored 1,596 runs with an average of 36.27 and with a staggering strike rate of 168.88, which is the highest in the history of T20Is amongst batters from full members. The only problem is that David has not played for a while, as he suffered an injury during the Big Bash League (BBL) encounter back in December against the Perth Scorchers, and therefore, it will be interesting to see how he will be able to perform in the big event despite having very little match practice.
Jos Buttler (ENG)
Third in the list features England's Jos Buttler. After a while, the right-hander will be playing in the side purely as a batter or wicketkeeper-batter after stepping down as a

Jos Buttler (ENG)
Third in the list features England's Jos Buttler. After a while, the right-hander will be playing in the side purely as a batter or wicketkeeper-batter after stepping down as a captain of the white-ball side following some unimpressive results. Buttler has a fabulous record in T20Is as a batter, where he is just 50 runs away from becoming the fourth player ever and the first English player to score 4,000 runs. In 135 innings, Buttler has scored 3,950 runs with an average of 35.26 and with a strike rate of 148.66, which included one century and 28 fifties. Three out of the last four years, the 35-year-old finished with a strike rate in excess of 160.
Saim Ayub (PAK)
Fourth in the list features Pakistan's Saim Ayub. The 23-year-old has showcased his talent at the highest level, not just with the bat but also with the ball in hand. It is for this reason that Saim has reclaimed his spot in the T20Is as the number one all-rounder, after his recent heroics against Australia in the three-match T20I series, where he scored 119 runs in three innings and claimed three wickets as well. Overall, Saim has represented Pakistan in 61 T20Is, scoring 1,228 runs and taking 24 wickets.
Abhishek Sharma (IND)
Fifth in the list features India's Abhishek Sharma. The left-hander has cemented his name as one of the most dangerous openers in T20 cricket. Sharma has featured in 38 matches for India in T20Is, where he has scored 1,297 runs at an average of 37.05 and a strike rate of 194.74. That strike rate is the best in the history of T20Is for any batter who has scored at least 1,200. Those numbers clearly show why Sharma remains the hottest property in the world of T20 cricket, and team India will be hoping for him to lead from the front and fill the void of big-name players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in the upcoming mega-event.
