Fifth Match Preview: Paarl Rocks vs. Jozi Stars

Paarl Rocks and Jozi Stars will clash in the fifth match of the Mzansi Super League (MSL) in Paarl on Tuesday.Both teams will be playing their second match in the tournament and will be looking to open their account. In their previous outing, Rocks faced a narrow one-run defeat against Tshwane Spartans, whereas the Stars received a thrashing against Nelson Mandela Bay Giants in a five-wicket defeat.

In the next match, the home side will be depending on in-form Cameron Delport, Michael Klinger and captain Henry Davids to score bulk of the runs in the batting department, whereas in the bowing department, the onus will be on the likes of former West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo and pacer Dane Paterson to provide important breakthroughs.

On the other hand, Stars will be looking to put a much better show after a below-par performance in the previous match. Chris Gayle – 10 Cr

Second in the list of key players features Stars explosive opener Chris Gayle. The 39-year-old is a master blaster in the shortest format of the game and has the ability turn the game upside down in the matter of few overs. Therefore, Gayle, who is valued at 10 Cr, is a must player to have in your lineup because he has the experience of playing T20 leagues in nearly every country in the world. The Jamaica-born left-hander, who had a poor beginning in the tournament, has played 354 T20s, where he has 12,075 runs at an outstanding average of 40.25 and strike-rate of 148.23, which included 21 centuries and 75 fifties.

Dwayne Bravo – 10 Cr

Last in the list features Rocks all-rounder Dwayne Bravo. The 35-year-old had a decent outing for the team in the previous match where he claimed three wickets in a high-scoring encounter. Valued at 10 Cr, Bravo has all the credentials and experience under his belt to become a useful asset for your team.
