There's an early 12:30 p.m. EST start for FanDuel's Sunday main slate, so we'll place our focus on the players for the site's two-game late offering at 3:00 p.m. EST. I try to make these articles as helpful as possible for our readers, and the early start will likely catch some DFS participants off-guard. While I'll include every Sunday injury, I'll concentrate on the final two matchups.

NBA Injuries Today
For all the latest updates, visit RotoWire's NBA Injury News page and our comprehensive NBA Injury Report. Below are some of the most recent and relevant injuries for Sunday. Keep in mind that this is not a complete list. Use your best judgment when evaluating ongoing injury scenarios elsewhere on the slate.
MIA Norman Powell (hand) - QUESTIONABLE
MIA Pelle Larsson (elbow) - DOUBTFUL
We could see a return for Powell, but pivoting to Jaime Jaquez ($6,300) is usually a strong call whenever there are potential first-unit absences.
NYK Karl-Anthony Towns (eye) - QUESTIONABLE
NYK OG Anunoby (toe) - QUESTIONBLE
NYK Josh Hart (ankle) - QUESTIONABLE
These are three legitimate injuries that could result in an absence for one or more of them. If you're playing the early slate, be sure to monitor the starting lineup for any significant changes.
WAS - Several Questionable Tags
Check the lineup closer to lock for the latest news, though Bub Carrington ($5,300), Jamir Watkins ($4,300) and Will Riley ($4,900) would be in line for more minutes if the tags hold up.
IND Aaron Nesmith (elbow) - QUESTIONABLE
Jarace Walker ($5,700) will be a quality pivot if Nesmith is sidelined.
Elite Players
As previously stated, I'm limiting my major endorsements for the two-game late slate, but I'll provide a brief list of early options at the end. The two-game offering lists two $10k-plus players atop its player pool, who will square off against each other. Kawhi Leonard ($10,100) is now LA's only major catalyst with James Harden and Ivica Zubac gone. Anthony Edwards ($10,300) and the Timberwolves are still at full strength and intend to make a playoff run, so I slightly favor him despite a more even production share in the starting lineup.
We only have four players at $8k and above, where Brandon Ingram ($8,100) stands out with the most favorable salary among the group. I also like Julius Randle ($8,300) against the Clippers' new-look frontcourt.

Expected Chalk and Value Plays
Andrew Nembhard, IND ($7,400) @ TOR
I would like to see a slightly lower salary for Nembhard, yet I'm content with taking him due to a shortage of quality guards on this slate. If you're looking for more value, Bones Hyland ($4,400) is my value option at the position.
John Collins, LAC ($6,500) @ MIN
I already endorsed Randle on the other end of this matchup. And while you could also go with Rudy Gobert ($6,500) at an identical salary, I decided to opt for Collins due to the production gap left by Zubac and Harden. It needs to come from somewhere underneath the basket, and I'm not sold on Brook Lopez as the long-term solution.
RJ Barrett, TOR ($6,400) vs. IND
I like Barrett and most of the Raptors in a very winnable matchup. Scottie Barnes is just behind Brandon Ingram with a salary that's a bit too high while Immanuel Quickley could be a step slower with an ankle strain. We could also see a return from Jakob Poeltl, which only firms my belief Barrett will be a guaranteed starter.
Collin Murray-Boyles, TOR ($5,900) vs. IND
While we need to watch for Poeltl coming back, I'll happily slot Murray-Boyles at center. He's played terrific ball of late. And though Jay Huff may present a challenge, I give CMB the upper hand.
Jordan Miller, LAC ($4,500) @ MIN
Miller is currently the top beneficiary of Harden's departure as the expected boost for Kris Dunn didn't yield any benefits last time out. Conversely, Miller's usage was relatively high as he provided decent support for Kawhi Leonard.
Early Slate Targets
Here's one option for each position:
- PG Davion Mitchell, MIA ($4,900)@ WAS
- PG/SG Derrick White, BOS ($8,200) vs. NYK
- SF/PF Andrew Wiggins, MIA ($6,400) @ WAS
- PF/C Bam Adebayo MIA ($8,300) @ WAS
- C Neemias Queta, BOS ($4,800) vs. NYK
