PITCHER
Carlos Carrasco, CLE vs. DET ($25,500): It doesn't get much easier than this unless this is some kind of trick. Carrasco has hit 25 fantasy points in his last three starts helped by his 25 strikeouts. One of those outings came against the Tigers, who were swept in a four-game series the last time these teams met. Detroit has a .307 wOBA and 23.1 K rate against righties since Aug. 21.
Chris Stratton, SF vs. LAD ($12,900): With all of my money on one pitcher, I hope to bank on the Dodgers' struggles with Stratton. The righty hurler is far from consistent, but he's at least struck out 10 batters in two of his last four starts, so there is some hope. The Dodgers have a .286 wOBA and 23.0 K rate the last three weeks against righties.
INFIELD
Ryan Goins, TOR vs. BAL ($5,700): When you can get a cheap lefty against Ubaldo Jimenez, you have to take it. Goins has a .326 wOBA against righties in his last 55 plate appearances, but more importantly Jimenez gives up a .410 wOBA to lefties, which is one of the highest rates in the league for a starter.
Kendrys Morales, TOR vs. BAL ($8,400): Morales adds a bit more power to the lineup to go with Goins. His overall numbers aren't amazing, but Morales has a .246 ISO in his last 67 plate appearances against righties. Jimenez has been pounded for 17 runs in his last three starts. If I was lazy, I could just recommend the entire Blue Jays lineup, but alas, I prefer variety.
Yandy Diaz, CLE vs. DET ($6,600): The Indians are probably one of the biggest favorites of the season in this matchup as Detroit pitcher Myles Jaye is making his first major-league start. Diaz has been a solid bat for the Indians on their run and comes on the cheap. He also has a .345 wOBA in his last 37 plate appearances against righties.
OUTFIELD
Melky Cabrera, KC vs. CWS ($6,900): No one wants to back the Royals now, but I'll gamble on Cabrera, who rarely strikes out. He also sports a .320 wOBA in his last 68 plate appearances against righties. Reynaldo Lopez has given up 12 runs in four starts, but is worse against lefties with a .366 wOBA allowed and 6.65 xFIP.
Hernan Perez, MIL vs. PIT ($7,600): Perez is much better against lefties and that should help against a lefty that has trouble with righties. Perez has a .370 wOBA against lefties this season, while Steven Brault gave up eight hits in his first start and has a 6.57 xFIP against righties in 12.0 IP.
Delino DeShields, TEX vs. SEA ($7,800): DeShields is a good, consistent bat against lefties and has a .389 wOBA and .233 ISO in his last 36 plate appearances. Even better, he homered against Ariel Miranda the last time they met, and Miranda also has a high 5.44 xFIP against righties.
UTILITY
Edwin Encarnacion, CLE vs. DET ($9,600): Of course I was going to use more than one bat against Jaye. Encarnacion is a good way to go Monday, or anyone on Cleveland for that matter. Encarnacion has a .473 wOBA and .351 ISO in his last 47 plate appearances against righties.
Mike Zunino, SEA at TEX ($7,200): With how Cole Hamels has gotten ripped in his last three outings (14 earned runs), I needed at least one Mariner in my roster. Zunino may strike out a bunch, but he provides power with a .370 wOBA and .286 ISO in his last 22 plate appearances against lefties. Hamels also has a poor 5.05 xFIP against righties.
