Closer Watch

Minnesota Twins – You have to figure the save opportunities will still be there for Glen Perkins, since even the lowliest of MLB teams manage to have a bullpen guy, or two combined, maybe even three combined, that can net 30 saves. Perkins still has the stuff to rank amongst mid-level closers in the league, in case you were wondering, so don't be afraid to acquire him in a deal from a club owner that is down on the Twins' win-loss record.

Washington Nationals – Drew Storen locked in his third save of the season, which is a solid feat considering the Nationals' woes to this point. That's four wins for the Nats, and three saves for Storen. Wouldn't it be fantastic-o if Storen could stay on that pace? I mean, golly gee, that would be like 64 saves on the year! Okay, maybe not. Still, Storen deserves some attention this season. You just might want to see if you can get him on the cheap-side.

Recommended Pickup
Mike Moustakas, 3B, KC – If you're like me, you dove right in on Moustakas during his prospect years, even going as far as naming your first born "Moose". But, it's a known fact that Moose just hasn't been able to capitalize on the opportunity given to him by the Royals. What about this season? So far, so good, in the limited early-season at-bats that he's netted, but you have to think that it's not too farfetched that Moose has a breakout year. So far in April, he's hitting .379 with two home runs and two RBI, but Moose will do so much more as the season wears on. Get him on your roster if you can.
