PITCHER
Dallas Keuchel, HOU at MIA ($11,800): Following a dominant performance at Yankee Stadium, Keuchel has now allowed one run or fewer in six of eight starts and sports a 1.69 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and 7.7 K/9 with a 22.8 strikeout percentage. Miami's .354 wOBA against southpaws ranks third in the league, so this is a tough test. However, it should keep Keuchel's ownership down while providing a huge lineup boost if he tosses another gem. If you're buying that he's returned to his 2015 form, than this is a manageable salary for a matchup-proof hurler.
Rich Hill, LAD at SFG ($8,700): This is a soft matchup for Hill, and while he's only made two starts this season, he's been next to unhittable since returning to the majors in 2015. Over 26 games, the lefty has posted a 2.59 FIP and 29.8 strikeout percentage while limiting opponents to two runs or fewer in 22 of the 26 outings. The Giants enter the matchup with a 27th-ranked .289 wOBA against southpaws, too.
CATCHER
Gary Sanchez, NYY at KC ($4,500): With a 39.9 hard-hit percentage, .307 ISO and .427 wOBA against righties since last season, Sanchez is a go-to target against the reeling Jason Hammel. The 34-year-old veteran has surrendered a .431 wOBA and 2.13 HR/9 to right-handed batters this season, after all.
FIRST BASE
Yonder Alonso, OAK at SEA ($4,300): With eight home runs and 15 RBI through 11 May games, Alonso is showing no signs of slowing down. Despite a monster 1.054 OPS, .341 ISO and .435 wOBA against right-handed pitchers this season, the first baseman still checks out at a discounted price. This is also a target-worthy matchup with Chase De Jong allowed a .423 wOBA to left-handed hitters this year.
SECOND BASE
Jonathan Villar, MIL at SDP ($4,400): Dating back to last season, Villar has posted a .370 wOBA against southpaws, and Clayton Richard has surrendered a .367 mark to righty bats. Leading off is a bonus, and Villar is also capable of padding his fantasy point total with his speed..
THIRD BASE
Alex Bregman, HOU at MIA ($3,700): Call it a hunch that Bregman's recent strong stretch continues. He's collected five extra-base hits through his past eight games with a .376 wOBA against right-handed arms for the month. Still, against Tom Koehler (.317 wOBA allowed to right bats since 2015), Bregman is more of a low-priced flier than lineup lock.
SHORTSTOP
Addison Russell, CHC vs. CIN ($3,500):Bronson Arroyo has allowed a .382 wOBA and 2.2 HR/9 to right-handed hitters this season, and this will be his second date with the Cubs. Russell is off to a dreadful start against right-handed hurlers with a .282 on-base percentage and .272 wOBA, and he's current mired in a 5-for-41 funk dating back to late April. Positive regression is ahead, and with a soft matchup, Russell can out produce this salary without leaving the yard.
OUTFIELD
Lorenzo Cain, KC vs. NYY ($4,100): With a soft matchup against a southpaw, Cain is a high-floor option. CC Sabathia has allowed 18 runs through his past three starts and surrendered a .343 wOBA to right-handed hitters for the year. Cain enters with an impressive .403 on-base percentage and .383 wOBA against lefties dating back to last season.
Yasmany Tomas, ARI vs. NYM ($4,100): Currently sporting a .225 wOBA against lefties for the season, Tomas has a ripe matchup to break out of the funk. He posted a .460 mark in 2016, and Tommy Milone has allowed a .2.08 HR/9 and .376 wOBA to right-handed hitters dating back to last year. Chase Field is also a hitter-friendly park.
Domingo Santana, MIL at SDP ($3,800): Since entering the league, Santana has a .372 wOBA against left-handed hurlers, and he's currently mashing at the dish with a 21-for-50 run and 1.082 OPS dating back to April 30. As noted, this is a soft matchup against Clayton Richard, and Santana's salary opens up cap space to spend elsewhere.
