Wells went undrafted out of Ole Miss after lowering his draft stock with a slower-than-expected 4.58-second showing in the 40-yard dash. He caught 15 touchdowns at James Madison back in 2021, and Wells impressed with 928 receiving yards and six touchdowns at South Carolina in 2022. He also scored six touchdowns at Ole Miss in 2024 while ranking eighth in the FBS with 19.8 yards per reception. Wells will try to prove that he plays faster on the field than his lackluster timed speed suggests.
