Newcastle United will face Liverpool in match day 37 in the English Premier League (EPL) at the St. James' Park on Saturday.

The game is poised to be an exciting one, as Newcastle will look to play spoiler to Liverpool's title chase, with the Reds likely needing victories in their last two matches to possibly finish ahead of Manchester City.

Newcastle have managed to register five wins and two draws in last 10 Premier League matches, lifting them to 13th in the table with 42 points. As far as team news is concerned, the Magpies will be without record-signing Miguel Almiron while Ayoze Perez is questionable with a hip injury.

On the other hand, Liverpool could be low on confidence and exhausted after suffering a draining 3-0 defeat against FC Barcelona in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final on Wednesday. Therefore, manager Jurgen Klopp will have a big job to do to motivate his players, as his team is very much still in the mix to claim their first league title in more than two decades.

Isaac Hayden (M): Hayden is having a mixed season for the club. There were news of him leaving St. James' Park but he ended up staying and is now becoming a regular feature, averaging 3.0 tackles, 1.7 interceptions and 1.2 clearances per match.
