2025 Fantasy Outlook
Salah defied even the loftiest of expectations last season, putting up some of the best league numbers ever en route to Ballon d'Or consideration. He was the best player in the Premier League and it wasn't particularly close. Salah tallied 29 goals and 18 assists while leading Liverpool to the Premier League title. AFCON will cost him at least some matches this season, but when he's on the pitch there are few better options. Now 33 years old, there's always the chance for more rotation after Liverpool acquired Jeremie Frimpong, though there were rumors of rotation last season and instead Salah played all but 43 minutes in the Premier League. He also remains the unquestioned top choice from the penalty spot for Liverpool.
Assists from corner
Salah assisted once to go with three shots (one on goal), one cross (one accurate) and one corner in Saturday's 2-0 win versus Brighton.
ANALYSIS
Salah started Saturday's clash on the bench but came on to replace the injured Joe Gomez. Salah took only one corner, but it was an excellent one that found Hugo Ekitike for a free header at the back post. Salah's future with Liverpool is still uncertain as he joins Egypt for AFCON, meaning Liverpool will be forced to rely on Dominik Szoboszlai at right wing for the coming matches, likely until early Jan.

Set for Slot conversation
Salah (Not Injury Related) is expected to have a private conversation with coach Arne Slot on Friday and the outcome will determine if he will be available for Saturday's clash against Brighton, coach Arne Slot said in the press conference. "I will have a conversation with Mo this morning and the outcome of that conversation determines how it will look tomorrow. What I need is a conversation with him and I think the next time I speak about Mo should be with him and not in here. You can keep on trying but there is not much more to say about it [other than] that I speak to him today and, like I said, the outcome of that conversation determines how things will look tomorrow."

Could return to Italy
Salah could return to Italy as Roma are keen on him, according to La Repubblica.
ANALYSIS
Salah is widely expected to leave Liverpool, but the star winger is more likely to depart Anfield in the summer and not midway through the 2025/26 campaign. Roma would be keen on bringing him back the Egypt star, but if he's made available, several teams in Europe would be open to signing him.
