Skyler Bell

23-Year-Old Wide ReceiverWR
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Bell is old for a rookie, turning 24 this summer, but in this case it shouldn't necessarily be equated with a lack of upside. He spent three years at Wisconsin in a horrific environment for receiving production before finally breaking out at UConn in 2024 (50-860-5). Bell followed that up with a gargantuan 2025 effort, ranking Top 5 among all FBS players in targets (144), catches (101), receiving yards (1,278) and receiving TDs (13). His star continued to brighten at the 2026 NFL Combine, where he posted a 4.40 40-yard dash, a 41-inch vertical and a 131-inch broad jump at 6-feet, 192. The Bills took a shot on Bell in the fourth round this spring, 125th overall, after trading for DJ Moore earlier in the offseason. Moore and slot man Khalil Shakir are the safe bets for playing time, if healthy, while Bell may have to compete with some combination of Keon Coleman, Joshua Palmer and Tyrell Shavers. The Bills drafted Bell in the fourth round of the 2026 NFL Draft, 125th overall.
ANALYSIS
Bell jumped up draft boards as a senior, compiling 101 catches for 1,278 yards and 13 touchdowns for UConn while leading FBS with seven 100-yard receiving efforts. He sports adequate size at 6-foot, 192 pounds, and he has an above-average ability to get open, but he's struggled with drops throughout his college career, amassing 24 over his four years as a regular contributor. He joins a Buffalo wideout room that has already added talent this offseason by trading for wideout DJ Moore from the Bears, but the club stood pat at wideout in the draft until Bell. Khalil Shakir, Joshua Palmer (ankle) and Keon Coleman all remain on the roster for Buffalo heading into 2026, so Bell may be hard-pressed to earn regular snaps and will likely be primarily relegated to a special-teams role as a rookie. That said, the Bills' receiving unit hasn't been among the better rooms in recent seasons, so there could be room for him to etch out a role in the future if Bell impresses the coaching staff.

Fumbles in OTAs
WRBuffalo Bills
May 21, 2026
Bell lost a fumble Tuesday during OTAs, per Matt Parrino of Syracuse.com.
ANALYSIS
Bell caught a pass from Josh Allen in 7-on-7 reps but subsequently had the ball knocked out by a defender, and Buffalo's defense recovered the fumble. That wasn't an ideal start for the rookie fourth-round pick out of UConn, but Bell remains in the mix to earn a meaningful role in a Bills wide receiver room that also includes DJ Moore, Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman and Joshua Palmer, the last of whom has been working on the side at OTAs while working his way back from an ankle injury.
