2026 Fantasy Outlook
Hollins made the leap from special teamer to borderline starter, getting significant work on offense for four different teams over the past four seasons. He's never topped 690 receiving yards or five touchdowns in a campaign, but NFL teams seem to like Hollins for his size, run blocking and decent hands. He did well with his limited chances in New England last season, and while he's under contract for another year, the team secured offseason upgrades -- A.J. Brown and Romeo Doubs -- who figure to leapfrog Hollins on the depth chart. Hollins is left to compete for depth roles with 2025 starter Kayshon Boutte, 2025 third-round pick Kyle Williams and slot receivers DeMario Douglas and Efton Chism. Read Past Outlooks
RANKS
In mix behind Brown and Doubs
As the coming season approaches, Hollins is line to compete with Kayshon Boutte, DeMario Douglas and Kyle Williams for snaps in three-receiver sets, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
In his first campaign with the Patriots, Hollins put up a 46/550/2 receiving line (on 65 targets) in 15 regular-season contests. However, with newcomers A.J. Brown and Romeo Doubs now slated to serve as the team's top WRs and command their share of targets in the process, Hollins may find steady volume harder to come by in 2026, with Boutte, Douglas and Williams also in the mix for looks that don't go to the top duo.

Hollins signed a two-year deal with Patriots in March, thus reuniting him with offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, under whom the 31-year-old had a career-best campaign in 2022 in Las Vegas with a 57-690-4 line on 94 targets in 17 games. The 6-4, 221-pounder combined for 49-629-5 on 80 targets in 30 regular-season contests between the Falcons (2023) and Bills (2024) over the last two years. In a New England receiving corps with returnees DeMario Douglas, Kayshon Boutte, Kendrick Bourne and Ja'Lynn Polkon on hand, as well as newcomers Stefon Diggs and Kyle Williams in the mix it's unclear what kind of volume Hollins can expect in a Drake Maye-led offense that could lean plenty on the run in 2025.

Activated from IR, expected to play
Hollins, who's been on injured reserve with an abdominal injury since Dec. 27, was activated Saturday and is expected to play in Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Broncos, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
The veteran wideout played a key role over his 15 regular-season appearances for the Patriots, recording a 46-550-2 line that featured the second-highest reception and receiving yardage totals of his career. Hollins' return could cut into the downfield opportunities of both Kayshon Boutte and DeMario Douglas.
