EricksonThe Seahawks have had a tough time protecting Russell Wilson.
PianowskiThere's no messy Super Bowl matchup possible from this foursome; bully for us.
LissSeems like the Giants, Packers and Ravens recent runs in the playoffs make everyone think the hot team (49ers) are also going to get there. But every year is different, and Seattle has been the better team. The Broncos are loaded with talent while the Pats' No. 1 receiver is Julian Edelman.
StopaI kind of think the Broncos will win, but 4.5 points strikes me as too many. There's a significant chance of less than ideal conditions, which obviously helps NE. Plus, Bill Belichick will have gotten an extra day of prep (NE having played last Saturday, as opposed to the Broncos, who played the late game on Sunday). I trust Belichick will have a good plan in place... The O/U in Seattle is less than 40. For a game that low-scoring, 3.5 points might well matter.
Del DonThe Patriots look outmatched on paper, but they have a big advantage when it comes to coaching, and the loss of Chris Harris is a big blow to an already depleted Denver defense. I expect the Broncos to win, but in my opinion, there's a better chance New England wins outright than Denver covers this spread... The 49ers have been embarrassed the last two times they have played in Seattle, losing by a combined score of 71-16. They will also be playing their fourth straight game on the road, trying to become the first team ever to win a Super Bowl during those circumstances. It won't be easy, and they are rightfully underdogs, but Seattle's passing offense has looked shaky over the final five games, and San Francisco enters healthier than they've been all year. This game should be close that will come down to the end.
